Andrews Garden Design
Garden designers. Creating beautiful gardens that make the most of your outdoor spaces.
After 2 weeks of clearing, 3 large skip loads of rubble, bricks and rubbish, delighted to get a glimpse of this new garden beginning to emerge. Huge thanks to Farm Lane Landscaping for such a great job!
Who doesn’t love a wet day in the garden! It’s day 2 of show garden build and it’s all coming together nicely - and no need to water tonight!
We’re finally here! Start day and here’s my show garden plot: quite a lot to do today
Busy weekend doing bit of last minute prep for my show border at The Belvoir Castle Flower and Garden show 15th & 16th July 2023. I enjoyed it, but don’t think the dogs were very interested or impressed!
Very much looking forward to doing my first show border at Belvoir Castle. For everyone who’s asked me: here are all the details
DESIGN INSPIRATION AT BELVOIR CASTLE
We are delighted to support new Garden Design talent at the 5th Belvoir Castle Flower & Garden Show taken place on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July 2023.
This two day event takes place on the Ladies field show site within the estate of Belvoir Castle over this summer weekend. Central to the show are the wonderful show border entries taking part in The London College of Garden Designs competition, to inspire you with their design and planting combinations.
The weekend will also feature appearances and demonstrations by horticultural experts in our ‘Lets talk’ marquee; meanwhile outside on the show ground you will find sculpture artists, nurseries, garden tools, garden furniture, and crafts to provide you with opportunities to purchase that something special.
On the music stage artists will perform as you relax and enjoy the range of foods and drinks on offer from our vendors.

Our Level 3 Garden Design students have been selected to exhibit at The Belvoir Castle Flower and Garden Show 2023!
The students submitted briefs with ideas ranging from wildlife, pollinator-friendly, plant dye garden, forgeable elements, quintessentially British, evoking community, and edible plants to answer to the theme of Countryside Borders. Plants for the gardens will be sourced through foraging, cuttings, growing and through trade.
The background of the Garden Design students is varied, from fashion design, marketing, upholstery and fine art - proving it's a creative industry to be in with an element of understanding the science to create beautiful gardens.
Big congratulations to Erin, Echo, Penny, Joanne and Karen studying Garden Design at One Garden Brighton!

It’s all coming together! Here are just a few of the plants I’ll be using in my show border at The Belvoir Castle Flower and Garden show 15th & 16th July 2023
Strange to say, but hurray for some rain today: it’s been a long time coming and very welcome in my parched garden: night off from watering can duties!
Who doesn’t love a pond project! Just working on a long term redevelopment plan for this one
