UPDATE 📣

I’m sorry been off grid for a little while; I’ve been taking some personal time to focus on myself and home life!

I’ve also been suffering with a condition which has made cake baking really difficult/painful so the only cakes I’ve made recently have been for my family. On top of that, messages haven’t been coming through again 🙃

I will be getting back into baking but I have tonnes on this year so I will be limiting how much I do - I will try to squeeze everyone in though!

Hi guys,

Just a quick thank you to everyone who has messaged since my surgery to check on how I’m doing - I really appreciate you ❣️

DIARY OPEN;

I am taking orders again as of tomorrow (1st September) but I will be starting with small cakes/cupcakes and building myself up from there.

I’m still taking it easy after my operation and I don’t want to put too much pressure on myself by taking on too much too early.

AVAILABILITY;

🔸 My September diary is VERY limited. I have a few spaces for cupcakes but I am on holiday from 22nd September - 2nd October.

🔸 As mentioned above, I will be taking things slowly in terms of orders for the rest of the year so please book in as quickly as you can as I won’t be taking on multiple orders for the same/similar date.

🔸 The big ‘C’ is on its way so I will be taking orders for Christmas very shortly.

** UPDATE ** 🚨

Hi all,

I know I’ve been very quiet lately - I had a wonderful 2 week holiday in Florida where I became a “Mrs to be” 💍 and spent some time celebrating with the family when we got home 🥰

Following that, I’ve just had major surgery last week and whilst I’m on the mend it is going to be a long road.

For that reason, I won’t be taking ANY orders during July as I have no idea how long my recovery will take. I’m hoping by the end of July I will have a better idea of where I am and will be able to update you all then.

Thank you all for the lovely engagement wishes and “get well” wishes - they mean a lot to me!

What do you call your milk bottles?

I drink loads of it and my spoilt pupper Keeva won’t drink water alone, it has to be mixed with milk (and it has to be blue 🙈)

If you sent someone to the shop and asked them to get you some milk, what size bottle would you expect them to come back with?

Flowers for cupcakes - NO CHARGE 🌺

I have some lovely little flowers left over from the weekend that I’d hate to waste (I’m the worst and putting things in the bin!)

If anyone is after some floral cupcakes there won’t be any charge for the fondant flowers, just the cupcakes themselves 😊

Rather than the safari cake going to waste, I have cut the cake into slices if anyone would like to collect a piece.

It’s in perfect condition which is why I didn’t want it to end up in the bin!

Due to unfortunate circumstances, I have this beautiful 2 tiered cake available for immediate collection.

2 layers of Victoria sponge cake with handmade fondant animals.

The small sign can be amended and the number “1” could easily be replaced by a cardboard topper (The Range/Hobbycraft sell them).

DEPOSITS

Can I please remind all customers that deposits need to be paid before the order/date is secured.

I am unable to hold dates and I cannot chase customers to double check if they still want to go ahead.

I will not be ordering any decoration or making any figures until I have the deposit so please bear this in mind as I may not be able to complete the order if time is too short.

Deposits can be paid via PayPal or bank transfer.

⭕️ NOTICES AND UPDATES 2022 ⭕️

- Collections are still from my address in Seaton Delaval.

- The late collection fee is still in place. This will be payable regardless of the cost of the order itself. I will post details of the charge below.

- As with everything, the cost of the ingredients I use has increased (and some aren’t available anymore). Energy prices are also increasing so unfortunately I have had to raise my own prices slightly to compensate for this.

- Please could you give me at least 4 weeks notice of when a cake is required. I will try my best to squeeze in last minute orders but I can’t guarantee I will be able to do them - it all depends on my diary.

- I work full time so I don’t always have my phone to hand. I will reply to messages as soon as I can but it might not be immediately.

- I am not able to hold dates so please pay your deposit as soon as possible to secure the date you need; I will only confirm the booking once I receive notification from PayPal/my bank that the deposit has been paid.

- I am unable to chase each customer to check if they still want to go ahead. Once payment has been sent please let me know so I keep an eye out for it. Without notification of the deposit I will assume that the cake is no longer needed.
