KITCHEN RENOVATION.

A recent fix fix of a kitchen in Huntington, York.

The customers had been having issues with rising water, so ripped the old floor and joists out before starting the work. They asked that the new cables be lifted as far up as possible.

This was a first for me, using a basket under the floors in a domestic house but I'm very happy with the result.

Also a new 16way click CCU with RCBO's fitted to allow for future works, rewiring the rest of the house sockets, a new garage supply and new outdoor lighting

An additional IP Rated outdoor socket and 2 newly wired outside lights in a customers garden.

Even Easter weekend doesn't stop AD Electrical from getting the work done 👌

Rental property renovation that has recently been completed.

Works included

• A change of consumer unit using the click elucian range with RCBO's

• Change of kitchen extractor fan to a new cooker hood

• A new 9.5kw electric shower

• A new bathroom electric towel rail with external timer

Out with the old - In with the new at a beautiful house on the edge of Norton.

Old 2 channel clock and stat, replaced with the new Hive mini, stat, hub and receiver. What a great piece of kit the mini is too!

Whilst there 2 standard 6" pendants were replaced in the hall with 2 new decrative fittings from the white company, that look amazing on the plaster ceiling roses!

A call out from today. The customer had been experiencing intermitted power loss for the past few weeks for no reason.

What was found was 2 loose tails from cross threaded terminals, one loose neutral and the other the live link from the main switch to the fuse carrier.

A new main switch and fuse carrier installed and all torqued up correctly.

Earlier today I was called out to a local family run restaurant in York City centre, to make safe the electrical circuits as it had been vandalised throughout the night.

There was over 30 lights smashed, multiple sockets smashed off the walls and CCTV equipment destroyed.

Words can not describe the impact it has had on the business!

A recently completed Distribution board on the outskirts of Selby, using RCBOs and board from the new click elucian range.
First time using the click range of units but it will not be the last!
