Cake is very important!
Lots going on here, with a handful of key connections still to be made but this one is well on its way.
We’ve had a load of super supportive comments over the last few weeks and I just wanted to say thank you, we really do appreciate it. If we haven’t got back to you yet, don’t sweat we will. ❤️
Some absolutely beautiful tones coming through.
This may well be our favourite colour combination to date. We are getting close to installing some other pretty special colours too but for now please enjoy these beautiful tones.
Designed for a life on the road. This T6 was special for us, a great client and an eye for beautiful materials and components.
Our work is always collaborative, this makes the things we design and build better. It enhances the overall experience and challenges us to achieve newness with each build.
Enjoying this new 20 shot sequence! We’ve got a very busy few weeks ahead of us and so much to share coming up. It’s an exciting (knackering) time but we’re up and at it.
Have a lovely weekend y’all.
Sunday session (tbh it’s been a weekend one). Me and Bennett today, Bennett and Luke yesterday. We’re blasting through as we’re a little behind! That being said working the occasional weekend (and a few after hours sessions in the week) really do help get you back on track.
A space designed for two things, work and play! It’s not often these two worlds collide but when they do great things can happen. Work / life balance is something we all strive for but tend to struggle to achieve! Not here though! This little office / adventure wagon allows you to do both with ease.
Before and afters are always great.
A sneak peak behind the curtain to see how our work comes together.
A handful of snaps I shot earlier in the year of this big beauty. All custom made in house, a very special conversion for 2 lovely folk and their cat.
😬 we love this thing!
This pull out was designed with one purpose, to give a little road cat space to escape to when on an adventure.
We incorporated a custom stainless tray in to the design to make cleaning the space as easy as possible. And a storage space to the left for food, treats and other cat related necessities. Accessing though a small opening at the front and locking with an latch to top things off.
A few more snaps from one of our absolute favs.
4x4 Man TGE. A big softy by .uk
Got some great projects cooking at the shop at the moment. Very excited to share more over then next few weeks. Be sure to follow along and keep in the loop.
A bit of precision cutting in action.
Planning is key! But the ability to change things as you go is not to be underestimated. Sometimes you encounter problems that involve having to change tact on the fly. We like this approach. It may not be the most efficient but it’s helped us define a really solid look and feel.
We love a Transporter!
By design smaller conversions give you a little more flexibility, as a caveat though you may not have the internal real estate to house certain (somewhat crucial) “stuff” a proper loo for example! And certainly an indoor shower!
But for what you usually have to leave out, you make up for in the ability to get up and go! (Pretty much anywhere) that a car can go. Which is an massive plus.
Thanks guys. Looks great.
Shape lines and consistent attention to the little things. These are two really important elements of any .uk build. We take our time and we enjoy the process.
We’re learning new things almost daily and we bloody love that! It’s what we come to the workshop for!
Seeing this beauty in the wild was such a treat. Loads still to share on the functionality of the interior and the systems that support it (we promise to get round to that one day soon). But for now here’s a few more snaps from the read.
Do let us know what you like, don’t like and would perhaps change in the comments. Always great to hear feedback as long as it’s constructive haha.
So great to see this project in the wild.
Our builds take on a whole different vibe when our clients start to fill them with their belongings. They really become themselves and it’s such a treat to see.
Every client brings something new to the table.
On the fence about committing to custom build? If you’d like to talk to us about it we’d be happy to chat. We’re here to help and understand that converting a vehicle is not just challenging from a planning perspective, it’s also a big investment. But we totally get that, and as a result want to help you make the right decisions so that you truly get the most out of it.
What a lovely pairing! steady boiling the kettle for an epic morning coffee with a view. Steve (not the van’s name) picked this beauty up, he knows what’s up!
uk we try to consider what materials, brands, colours and combos can be brought to the table to really make an impact.
I have a load of build images that are kinda just sat in my camera roll. I figure it makes sense just to keep sharing them to avoid them never seeing the light of day. Some of them may be a little rough around the edges but feels good to see them being used and for you guys to check out a little more BTS action.

Along with fun jobs we also have to do some pretty crappy ones, it kinda just comes with the territory. Things go wrong, it happens! Things that aren’t always easy to spot.
Take this 6 pin trailer hook for example (pretty boring stuff) but we’ve been on the hunt for an electric gremlin in the background for about a week. We tried everything and after countless faffing Nic stumbled across the source. The cable looked like it had been caught at some point when disconnected. We sorted it, reconnected what is thankfully a very basic loom and fired it up!
In short I guess what I’m getting at here is that you just have to roll with the punches a bit, take the rough with the smooth and just get it done.
😬 Operation space craft initiated.
Nice little BTS of a recently completed custom T6.
Great storage is essential, our client wanted a load of different options including a rather large wardrobe of which we were happy to create. A single door wouldn’t have been able to open across the gangway so we opted for a pretty simple but really effective double door front. We think it looks lovely, but please let us know your thoughts in the comments. We also love to hear your feedback.
Unorthodox but kinda makes sense!
We chatted about this rather unusual wall combination/shower entry for some time. The pros and cons were discussed at length.
Ultimately we had to fit an awful amount of good stuff in to a medium wheel base vehicle (and for those that know how tricky that it) you’ll feel pain.
So so excited to share more on Beautiful “Min”.
A perfect spot to work from on the road.
We’ve had a handful of T6 enquiries recently (which we’re really thankful for). It seems like people are genuinely embracing the opportunity to work on the road, which is amazing.
Let’s face it everyone would love to sack work off and go adventure full time, but of course that’s just not possible for 99% of us. So working on the road is a really good alternative.
Get in touch if this is a balance you’re trying to achieve.
Could you work and play?
Things of absolute beauty.
Towards the end of this week we’re planing a full workshop sort! New storage, benches and stations, extraction audit, tools etc. Essentially a bit of lean planning to improved efficiency. It’s sad that I’m quite looking forward to it haha.
Never a dull day.
Building vans can be tricky! The more people connect with in this industry the more we realise just how tough it can get. This is just a mid week shout out to van builders far and wide, those that do it solo and those that are part of a team.
We see ya and have massive respect for ya!
