We can pretty much get any colour and size T-shirt and can offer a logo with or without the legend lives on - £12.50 + postage.

We can also offer white tote bags - £7.50 + postage.

Postage charges depends on your location.

£2.50 per item will be put into Greasy Vera’s Production Ltd to raise funds for the next stage.

Well what a day we’ve had, from our BBC Radio Sheffield interview on the breakfast show that’s been played all day to ITV Calendar filming this afternoon.

BURGER VAN INSPIRES NEW STAGE SHOW

A new comic theatre production inspired by a legendary late-night South Yorkshire burger van is opening in Sheffield.

The food truck known as Greasy Vera’s was stationed in Neepsend for much of the 1970s through to the early Noughties.

Late-night workers and revellers would gravitate towards the truck, which sold burgers, bacon sandwiches and the infamous "chegg burger".

The Greasy Vera’s stage show, chronicling the van's colourful customers, will open on Monday at the Lantern Theatre.

The name Greasy Vera’s is a tribute to its original owner Vera, who ran the burger van with husband Les in the 1970s before John Smith took over in the 1980s.

Another great afternoon attending the Lyceum theatre to watch the dress rehearsal. It’s so surreal and we can’t wait to share this work in progress production with those of you attending one of the two shows next week.

What an absolute amazing afternoon we’ve had. We met the cast for the play and it felt surreal to come face to face with the actors playing my dad, mum and I. We had the pleasure of watching a scene and it felt very emotional, I cried one minute and laughed the next. It’s going to be a great treat for the audiences. We also had the pleasure of meeting Simon, a BBC Radio Sheffield producer who interviewed us, listen for this over the lead up to the plays next Monday and Tuesday.

A big day later this afternoon, we’re going to meet the cast during rehearsals at the Lyceum theatre and be interviewed on BBC Radio Sheffield 👍❤️

It’s so exciting, that a year ago we talked about working with James to look into having a Greasy Vera’s play. One week today we will have our first show. Last night we met some old customers and two of the cast. It was surreal for my dad John to meet the actor David that is going to play him 💙

Over 20 years ago since we recreated the chegg burger but tonight we did just that and it tasted fantastic too. We had a great evening sharing our stories, meeting old customers, two of the cast (one playing my dad) and working with the writer James and director Luke 👍

It’s starting to feel surreal and exciting at the same time ❤️
