So true. Still miss the calls I made to my mum every day no matter where I was, making maps of wherever we were travelling so she could follow us, sending a postcard every day ....so lucky to have had her for the sixty years I did....forever grateful for her love and support.

One day, the phone will stop ringing with your mom’s name on the screen. It will hit you hard when you realize how much you took those calls for granted.

You’ll find yourself longing for more time with her, wishing for just one more conversation, one more shared moment. You’ll miss her gentle reminders to let go of your bad habits, the way she always believed in your potential.

There will come a day when the warmth of her presence is just a memory. You’ll arrive at that familiar home, the one that always greeted you with the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. But instead of warmth, it will feel achingly empty.

Her voice, once a constant in your life, will fade into silence, leaving behind only echoes of laughter and love.

Time moves swiftly, never pausing for anyone, and it will carry her away, leaving you with a profound emptiness that nothing else can fill. It’s a void so deep that no amount of distraction can ever truly alleviate the ache of her absence.

If you happen to come across a sheep lying on its back with its legs up, it is 'cast'. Please be so kind as to tip/roll it back over; if left like this they can die as they cannot get up. This is especially important this time of year as most 'cast' sheep will be carrying lambs, hence their struggle to get to their feet.
