We have been planning and working with a client in London who is completing a full house renovation internally and externally.
The client has chosen different natural stone materials for the various aspects within the property.

Part 1: GREEN BATHROOM
In 20mm Verde Olomont Natural Marble.
Dark green with natural white vein detail.
John has worked with the client to ensure the cutting of the slabs create the bookmatch to show the material and vein detail at its best and show the natural flow of the veins.

The client is utilising all the material to minimise waste so also completed during the first part of this project is a window ledge and a piece to fit a niche with mitred bookmatched downstand to create a thicker more solid appearance.

More of the Verde Olomont to come later further into the project.

Back in London this week for the next fit 🙂 (maybe a bit of red and white in this one 😉)

Claire chose 30mm Fugen Avalanche Quartz for her new worktops and this option really compliments the new unit colour and Claire’s choice of decor. Especially the range cooker splashback area that shows the detail in the material really well.

Running slightly behind as waiting on display units 😔
But…that’s not stopping us offering our full service 🙂

Some of the sample stands are temporarily positioned in the reception area and all the loose smaller samples are accessible in storage boxes.

Customer project meetings are still taking place in the reception area 🗒️✏️📏

SATURDAY 10th FEBRUARY we will be onsite between 8.30am & 11am
So, there will be a few slots available to book if anybody requires an appointment 📆

Just a reminder that our showroom is currently being renovated and for Healthy & Saftey reasons is closed off to the public.
It’s currently totally ripped out, with no display areas and flooring! 😱
🤞Next week the display areas will start to be installed and then the floor can be screeded ready for the new flooring 😃

Some customers when arriving are still asking to look at displays areas/samples in our showroom even though we have signs up saying it is closed off and we explain it’s not accessible (and there is nothing in there to look at 👀)

We ask all customers to bear with us during this renovation period and apologise for any disruption and inconvenience caused and thank you in advance for your co-operation.

It’s been a difficult decision having to close the showroom temporarily but it’s something we have to do so we can have a new showroom, and better display areas.
(It will all be worth it when it’s completed as the original one was 8 years old!!)

We are still welcoming customer visits and as per usual operations visits are by APPOINTMENT and are PRE-BOOKABLE 24 hours in advance.
All customer meetings/visits will take place in the reception area.

**Exciting news 🗞️ 😃**

We have started renovation works on our showroom 🪚🪛🔨

As the existing showroom is currently being ripped out and renovation works taking place we will be CLOSED to the public on SATURDAY 13th & SATURDAY 20th JANUARY.

We are still trying to accommodate visits/appointments the best we can during Monday to Friday in the reception area.

Artemistone Maxxi Gild Quartz was chosen which has a broken grey vein detail with gold aspects.
A simple worktop length with hob & sink but the detailing in this Quartz looks and works really well especially around the sink area 😍

As the porch is light & bright, Rob & Fliss were looking for something a little bit darker and a matt finish in grey tones.
20mm Unistone Tartufo Quartz in a honed finish worked out perfectly for this area.
For the living room windowsills, something lighter was preferred and Silkstone White Shimmer ✨ Quartz was chosen in 30mm.

The team at the Granite and Marble Factory were very efficient and professional from start to finish. An appointment was made with us for the templates to be taken and the worktops were ready for installation a week later. Our install was completed by Mick, Neil & Dylan.
