I'm at a stalemate with soldering at the moment 🙈 It's not my friend and taking me a long time. I'll hopefully be having some one-to-one sessions in a few weeks when I'm in America to help me speed up!

I love dragonflies and yet have the worst dragonfly tattoo known to man! (Photo at the end). The tattooist tried to convince an 18-year-old me to get a flaming squirrel on a skateboard tattooed, and yet I went for the most basic little dragonfly. Kids often try to work out what it is... "Is it a palm tree, Miss?" 🤦‍♀️

Spring showers make for a pretty backdrop! I hope everyone stayed dry on this crazy weather day. Sun, sleet, rain, wind, and clouds... we just need a little snow to hit jackpot! 😂

Inspired by the sea in the Maldives 🌊 I find these few months so difficult as they're just ridiculously grey. I celebrate any sunny spells and reminisce about hotter climates. Bringing these blues together makes any day cheerier.

I'm starting to fall in love with black patina. It really lets the glass be the star of the show. Although it is really nerve-wracking, putting it on at the very end of a project and hoping it comes out black enough 🤞

This brown glass is very deceiving. It looks much lighter and even has a slight sparkle to it when held up to the light. Some spring sunshine is needed!

One of my goals this year was to sell one piece of my stained glass, and I never thought I'd manage to achieve it in January. Although it makes me wracked with nerves, I also feel really proud that people actually like something I made!

I haven't quite finished my soldering on this, so it looks messy, but I couldn't resist photographing it against the beautiful sunrise!

The black patina definitely made the colours pop on the moth. It's a tricky process trying to get it jet black, but I'm happy with the result 😊
