The Old Post Office Cafe Bar

On Saturday 2nd November, we be our last day of trading we are open as normal 9 till 3 then reopening at 6pm for farewell drinks, so if you passing please call in. I would like to thank every one customers and staff past and present for your continued support over the past 6 years plus the 11 years across the road at Bilaluci . The cafe will be closed for a few weeks for a make over then the new owners will be re opening

Due to staff shortages the cafe will be closed today but we are back open at 9 tomorrow. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Saturday 14th September we are closed from 11:30am for a private event, we will be serving our breakfast menu.

We will be back open Monday 16th at 9am.

Saturday 24th August the cafe will close at 1pm due to a private function.

We reopen Tuesday 27th August 9am x

Please can we ask any customers that have been in today and paid card, to check their transactions and whether their payment has gone through. Unfortunately our card machine has not been working properly all day and we have had nearly all card transactions be unsuccessful.. this wasn’t evident until end of day cash up. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and would greatly appreciate it if you notice your payment hasn’t gone through, to pop in and retry.

As we are a small business, your support is of utmost importance and we appreciate it greatly.

We are looking for a casual worker to join our team.

This role will include working weekdays and weekends, some evenings are also included.

Duties would include welcoming customers, taking orders, working the till, using the coffee machine, serving food & drinks, clearing tables and cleaning tasks such as washing up etc.

The ideal candidate should be flexible and have some experience in hospitality but not necessary as full training will be provided.
