Absolute gem of a place to stay. The lodge was perfect with lots of lovely little touches. There was plenty of space for two and it was such a chilled out place to be. The log burner kept us warm, though I wish it would have had a glass front for us to watch the fire, but we simply enjoyed the fire pit outside fot that. Everything was catered for and the food from the lodge was great. Definitely was noisy with the ducks/cockerel but it was a noise we were greatful to hear! The hosts were excellent and very helpful and the lodge was in such a good location. Normally we have a rule of not visiting a place twice - as there are so many out there - but we might break our rule for this one!
