Tom came to sleaford training 11 months ago for rehab after having 2 knee operations, last one being in august last year. He had low confidence and didn’t have the tools he needed to get back onto the pitch again.

Tom was a quality football player at Stamford and felt his operation was a huge set back, which could potentially stop him from playing again. I took him through the strengthening exercises, plyometrics, conditioning and sport specific movements over the course of several months. He’s not only back to his full ability and playing well at an even higher level, he now has more knowledge with movements he should carry out in the gym consistently and efficiently.

So happy with how Richard has improved, coming to me hardly even being able to put any pressure on the leg he severely injured in football, which affected his working life. To now, where he’s carrying out this and many other exercises in the gym with great form and now his working life is back to where it was before the incident. My client came in explaining that he had reoccurring back pain during certain movements. After identifying that his core was weak in a few tests, as well as his glutes being under active. I set out to produce him a routine, including the McGills big 3 comprised of the curl-up, side bridge (or side plank), and birddogs. After this routine, I then set out to correct form on certain pressing movements above the head etc Looking forward too hearing the improvements he will make in the future. Do you have back pain? Single leg partial squat has improved massively with the tracking of the knee now being predominantly central, whilst before his knee was going all over the place causing him pain in the medial side of it.
