This time it’s the Harlech Castle in Harlech, Gwynedd, Wales. This medieval fort was built onto a rocky knoll and believe me, even after all this years (the building is dated around 1282 years old) it continues to stun with breathtaking views that are just impossible to forget. We know, the weather could be tricky but if you are lucky enough to be at the right time in the right place you might enjoy the amazing view of Porthmadog as well.

The castle is located only 30 minutes’ drive from our lodge. During the trip you can stop and see fantastic Llyn Trawsfynydd Reservoir to enjoy even more unforgetable views.

This time, a small town Dolgellau located a short 15 min drive from our 3 bedroom (sleeps 7 people) Willow Lodge in Bronaber.

Dolgellau offers plenty of entertainment for all ages.
A few attractions you can expericnce yourself include:
* Dolgellau Park- just right next to the bridge (next to A470) offering great fun time for all small and teenage visitors. Plenty of space for picnic blanket :)
* Popty'r Dref Bakery is the perfect place to go if you fancy a snack or a proper meal. Delicious!
* The charming Our Lady Of Sorrows Church where you can contemplate and relax after busy day.

All this, just 15 min drive from our place :)
