Solihull CC team day out at the Ross Warland Canal Challenge. Well done everyone!
Chilly but bright Saturday morning race training session!
Hi all,
We've been setting up Destiny Medical Centre in Uganda since 2012. In Feb 2024 we're opening the eye & dental clinics & pharmacy. The pathology laboratory & an ultrasound scanner are also needed to generate funds to subsidise unprofitable but important services like woman's health & child immunisations & the care of those who can’t afford healthcare.
So, we're cycling across Uganda - 300 miles (virtually 😉) at St Philips church in Dorridge on Friday 1st December between 10am and 10pm. Each person rides 1 of the 2 stationary bikes for 30 or 60 minutes. If anyone wants to spare us some pain then message me to ride. Or make the suffering worthwhile by sponsoring riders via the link - https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/destiny-medical-centre?utm_term=2xDWkYqRV)
Or come & enjoy the Destiny Africa choir (from this charity’s children’s home in Uganda) performing at 12.30pm & 7pm as they up the rider's cadence. There’ll also be delicious coffee, tea and cakes on sale.
