Labour are coming for our Green Belt. We have some of the most precious greenbelt in the country. I have worked with parish councils and residents, councillors and the Council to protect our greenbelt time and time again. Labour are coming for it - plain and simple.

If you care about the greenbelt - and want to protect it - vote for Saqib Bhatti on July 4th.

Labour have repeated their plans to concrete over the Green Belt within ‘days of gaining power’.

Only a vote for the Conservatives will stop Labour from assaulting our Green Belt.

Labour plan to strip local communities of their say over housebuilding and force local councils to build over our precious countryside.

What’s more, they have admitted first-time buyers will pay more under Labour’s First-Time Buyers Tax.

We cannot afford to surrender our Green Belt to Labour. Only the Conservatives will build the right homes in the right places and help families onto the housing ladder with tax cuts on your first home.

Great to have been at the hustings last night at Solihull School. A huge turnout and lots of good interest from the younger attendees too.

When it comes to educational standards, only the Conservatives can and will deliver.

After a busy day of campaigning I decided to pop into the Balsall Common picnic in the park with the family - what an amazing event. I have come every year since Covid and it has wonderful to see it thriving. Great to catch up with the gents at Balsall Common Lions too 👏

Huge turnout of support today - very humbled by the people who came to support. Thanks to for their support and just goes to show the level of support across the constituency. We were out today in Silhill, Elmdon, Knowle, Dorridge, Kingshurst, Fordbridge, Elmdon and Chelmsley Wood.

Another busy Saturday out and about having conversations about what really matters: protecting our greenbelt, restoring our A&E and saving our police stations. Thanks to everyone who joined us campaigning or took the time to speak with us.

I have been blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last couple of months. It really has made the world of difference to William and me and has helped us both through some of the harder times.

I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well.

My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months. On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home.

I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet.

I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal.

Thank you so much for your continued understanding, and to all of you who have so bravely shared your stories with me.

Great to have attended the Knowle Green Fair at Knowle Parish Church this evening after a busy day of campaigning. I spoke to many residents about biodiversity, sustainability and recycling.

Great day of campaigning all over the constituency and even popped into Wedges on Dovehouse Parade for Tuna Melt! We had a warm reception on the doorstep today and thanks to everyone who stopped to chat.
