We are failing our children 😢 Here we have an extremely self aware and emotionally intelligent child that is clearly struggling with his emotional regulation due to some underlying issues. I may be reading into this too much, but this was a perfect opportunity to encourage this child to explore why he was feeling the way he was, rather than respond to the incident and behaviour, with an evidential tired and exasperated teaching assistant who's had enough of repeating the same conversation with this child.
