Great to discuss some International considerations when launching campaigns and products across the Globe before moving on to promoting ourselves in the workplace.

Great start to a sunny Monday with & talking and listening about business engagement across the city. A very interesting and open discussion was had with the research and innovation team at the University and it’s future collaborations with Industry/Wi******er.

It fired me up for the week ahead.

I hope you’re easing yourself in gently after the Christmas frivolities?

Last year I was a little quiet on my social media channels as we’re managing a big house renovation. I’ll share some updates soon. The project started in April 2023 and after sacking a few rogue traders we finally moved back into our forever home at the end of October! For that period we were squeezed into a one bed annex over our garage… BUT we survived. We still love each other and are very appreciative of personal space! It’s not finished but Rome wasn’t built in a day, as they say! It also costs a blinkin’ fortune so we need to regroup and save up again!

So 2024 gives me time to refocus on what I love doing. For me that’s teaching, mentoring and coaching around social media.

I can’t wait to get stuck in, alongside supporting my fabulous clients too.

Bravo - I think Cinderella is my favourite panto ever! 💕 Oh yes it is…

We’ve been watching the pantos at The Theatre Royal Wi******er since the little ones were tiny & tonight Ella and I were gifted a ticket to see this years show. We loved it!!

We belly laughed, sang, cheered and had the best fun. 100% recommend a festive visit to support the theatre whilst enjoying a brilliant production.

Cinderella is the rags to riches story of a servant girl magically transformed into a beautiful
princess to go to the ball to meet the handsome prince.

Packed with corny jokes, original songs, live music and plenty of audience participation, Cinderella is suitable for all.

Cinderella runs until Monday 01 January 2024, with the best prices and ticket availability in early December. So be quick! There are also a number of accessible performances and livestream options for audiences to enjoy the show in an environment they feel comfortable in.

We’re lucky to have the fabulous from presenting. His switch on happiness is infectious… Sooooo excited!

The Grand Finale Catwalk Show takes place this Saturday 21 October at the University of Wi******er, King Alfred Centre, from 7pm-10pm (doors 6.30pm, show 7pm to 9pm with an interval, bar closes 9.30pm).

The fish and chips are epic too but the ice-cream… it’s so lush!

It’s blinkin’ boiling atm, so this was the perfect end to a lovely Summers evening with my Wi******er work family.

The ice-cream is served outside too on hot days! Winner! 🍦

By 2PM yesterday we had walked over 11k steps, had over 2000 images in the can and we were a little bit hot!

However, that said I love building content of the fabulous businesses in preparation to share the love next month for independents business month. It is so lovely to see the faces behind the businesses and very hard not to spend a lot of money!

Thanks to all those businesses who took part yesterday and gave us a big cheesy smile and very warm welcome!

Holly Bobs is an absolute sweetheart too so if you need a photographer for a wedding, event or anything really, do ask her. She’s my go-to always! 📸 💕

I snuck out for an early feed with my gorgeous pals Emma and Miranda, bumped into my darling Han, was fed, watered and home in time to read a chapter of with Ella.

The pub was packed by the time I left, the food was delicious and I can’t wait to go back and try some more! A little birdie told me the Sunday roasts are delicious!

For those that know me well, appreciate I don’t drink coffee or tea, I’m more of a hot chocolate or Coke Zero kinda gal.

I try not to drink hot chocolate a lot but this am was the perfect temperature to appreciate one!

📢 Broadcast Channels📢

Instagram is a nimble social media platform IMHO and I love the way it analyses how ‘we’ use and communicate with our followers across the platform…

That said has just announced that Instagram is testing ‘broadcast channels’ which will help creators share content to many on mass.

In the words of Adam - “broadcast channels are a one-to-many public messaging channel”.

These will be great for sharing insights or having a guest join you or for those ‘ask me anything’ type sessions.

It’s being tested…. But watch this space..

Here comes February with a bang and a BIG thank you to our NHS (again!) 👋🏻

January was 675 days long, or so I was told yesterday by which made me chuckle! We’ve been eagerly awaiting the start of February however I didn’t expect to see its arrival in A&E.

We are all ok- Alfie just has an acute ear infection that kicked off majorly at 10PM last night. We’ve not seen him in so much pain.

Just waiting for the antibiotics to kick in (and the codeine) before hopefully getting him home for some sleep!

Rock and roll…

I can’t fault the NHS staff here at Wi******er paeds A&E- thank you for taking care of my (big) boy. We both appreciate it!
