We get inspired and also hungry when our customers tag us in their post. Here is one by that had as wishing we were invited to share the delicious Ribeye and tomato and red onion salsa with them.
Fortunately, was kind enough to share the recipe; so we can all try it at home 🔥.
“Slice your potatoes between 2 chopping boards to create thin slices in the potatoes stopping just short of cutting all the way through, then coated them in a spice mix (below). Made by icing the following ingredients:
3 cloves of pressed garlic
1tbs sweet paprika
1.5tbs coarse sea salt
1tbs dried thyme
2.5tbs of BBQ rub (I used Smokedust by )
Half a cup of extra virgin olive oil
The potatoes were then added to Kamado for 1hr 45m, regularly applying additional coatings of the spice mix.
Salsa
Whilst the potatoes are cooking, prepare the salsa by mixing:
2 medium diced fresh tomatoes
1/2 medium red onion
1 jalapeño pepper (seeds removed)
1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pinch dried oregano
1 pinch ground cumin, or more to taste
Steak
Rested to room temperature.
Seasoned with freshly ground sea salt & peppercorns.
Cooked on an indirect heat to 35°C, then rested for 15 mins whilst increasing the oven temp to 400°C to sear each side for 10-20 seconds & served on a bed of rocket.
This weekends forecast: Cloudy with a chance of meatballs.
These meatballs were mixed with a sprinkle of our Magic Dust. A little sprinkle goes a long way 🙈🔥🧆

Eid Mubarak to my lovelies. This was my contribution (obviously I did more than 1 chicken) for the Eid table (as well as some sweet treats) at my parent’s home.
This is how I made it:
𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬-
1 Whole chicken
For the marinade-
3tbs olive oil
1 onion
2 red peppers
4 garlic cloves
1 finger of fresh ginger peeled
Juice and zest of 1 lime
2tsp dried mixed herbs
1/2tsp cinnamon powder
1/2tsp nutmeg
1tsp allspice
1tbs devils dust
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1tbs maple syrup
𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝:
Wash chicken and pat dry.
Blend together the olive oil onion, peppers, ginger and garlic into a paste.
Mix in the remaining ingredients.
Rub the chicken inside out with the marinade.
Leave overnight.
Pre-heat the oven to 220c.
Line a baking tray.
Place the chicken on the tray.
Cook the chicken for around half hour.
Then lower the heat to 180c and cook for another 45mins.
Rest your chicken for 15 mins before serving.

LezBBQ was created and made into the small business it is now due to co-founder Kayleigh being put on furlough in 2020. Kayleigh and her partner, Hannah, decided to turn their passion for food and in particularly their LOVE of BBQ into a business, this led to the creation of LezBBQ (two le****ns bbq’ing or Let’s bbq).
They started by creating a menu that local people in the area could order through Instagram for a Friday evening collection. Fast forward to a year now, and their business has expanded to also offering monthly deliveries and catering for private parties of up to 30+ people.
Kayleigh and Hannah’s journey has just began and we’re proud of their work and their passion for BBQ’ing, we celebrate their achievement thus far. Happy Pride Month :)
