I hope this reaches some you arty people ok - please say hi πŸ‘‹

THE IMPORTANCE OF CREATIVITY Remember, the process of creating is often more important than the end result. It’s not about being a master artist but rather about engaging in the act of creation itself. I like spreading a drawing over several days or even weeks (time permitting) so that I can (1) get a fresh eye on it each session and (2) to extend the process of creating something - the process that gives me so much…. Personal Time and Space: In a world that can be overwhelming and fast-paced, taking time out to create something provides a valuable space for ourselves. Enjoy these moments of solitude and peace - even if it’s just for 5 minutes!Stress Relief: Creating art allows us to escape the pressures of everyday life. It’s a therapeutic process that helps to reduce stress and anxiety. When we’re immersed in the creative flow, our minds focus on the present moment, providing a break from worries and negative thoughts. Emotional Outlet: Art serves as a powerful emotional outlet. It gives us a safe space to express complex emotions that might be difficult to put into words. Channeling those emotions into our artwork can be incredibly cathartic.Boosting Self-Esteem: Creating something, no matter how small, fosters a sense of accomplishment and boosts self-esteem. The act of bringing an idea to life, whether it’s through painting, writing, or any other creative endeavor, instills a sense of pride and confidence in our abilities.Connecting with Others: Sharing our artwork with others allows us to connect on a deeper level. Art has the power to evoke emotions and inspire conversations. ❀️

My studio (glorified garden shed πŸ˜…) had become a dumping ground. Now it’s getting a bit warmer I wanted to clear it so I can work out there. We had some kitchen larder unit sides spare after a kitchen redo so we used these as worktops - and my lovely sister-in-law gifted me this lovely β€˜fish on a line’ fabric - thank you @nicolephillipsengland πŸ’• so now it’s ready for me πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
