🌟 Client Feedback 🌟
We won’t get rid of our anxiety and nerves completely, and sometimes they can be good for us. It’s great to hear that this client is challenging themselves more and making positive changes. Well done!
When we try to talk kids out of their emotions, they feel misunderstood, causing their anxiety to “fight” to be heard. Listening and validating their feelings is key.
✨Boost Your Child's Confidence with These Phrases✨
Try these phrases with your children to help boost their confidence:
1. "I believe in you."
2. "You can do it!"
3. "I'm proud of your effort."
4. "Mistakes help us learn."
5. "You’re getting better every day."
6. "Let's try it together."
7. "I love how you handled that."
8. "You have great ideas."
9. "Keep going, you're doing great!"
10. "It's okay to ask for help."
Give it a go and let me know how you get on!💙💗

🌟 Tip of the Day 🌟
Encourage your child to write down three positive things about themselves each morning. Starting the day on a positive note can boost confidence and set a great tone for the day! 🌞✍️
“Anxiety doesn’t always look like the nervous child. It can also look like the quiet, angry, or difficult child. It’s crucial to recognise the different faces of anxiety and offer support with understanding and compassion. If you notice a child struggling, reach out, listen, and provide a safe space for them to express their feelings. Together, we can make a difference. 🌟 DM me if you or your child needs help.

🤔 Let’s Lead by Example 🌟
We’re all human and make mistakes. We might snap or shout at our kids sometimes, but it’s crucial to acknowledge our emotions and teach our children by example. Saying sorry is not a sign of weakness; it’s a lesson in empathy and accountability.

Dear Jeremy Hunt, this is what you said in 2016. If you truly believe it, why didn’t you mention mental health once in today’s new budget?
No new mental health support teams in schools.
No funding for early mental health support hubs.
No mention of reducing waiting times.
Today was the Government’s last chance before the General Election to finally make young people’s mental health a priority.
It’s time to wake up.
The number of young people with mental health problems has almost doubled since 2016. We are in a mental health emergency and we need radical and urgent action to stop young people from suffering.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums out there. It’s not always easy but keep trying your best and remember to take time for yourself 💕

🔥 Embracing Connection: A Lesson in Emotional Regulation 🔥
In the world of children’s emotions, you can’t fight fire with fire. 🌈 When a child is feeling disregulated, it’s crucial to connect with their emotional right side before engaging their logical left.
🌟 Why Connection Matters:
💙 Building Trust: Establishing an emotional connection fosters trust and understanding.
🤗 Emotional Regulation: Connecting emotionally helps children navigate their feelings.
🧠 Opening Communication: Once the emotional side is addressed, the logical side is more receptive.
Let’s prioritize connection and understanding in our approach to children’s emotions. Share your experiences or insights on this journey! 💬

Let's build a brighter future for our children together! 🌟
I absolutely agree and something I tell the young people I work with. There are no 'good' or 'bad' emotions, just emotions. Adding labels such as 'bad' emotions impacts on their ability to open up about how they are feeling and puts shame on them for feeling these 'bad' emotions like its not normal. We all experience a range of emotions from time to time and many can be normal for the situations we are in. It's not the emotions that can cause problems but the way we manage these emotions and the potential behaviours as a result.
A message for your child: There are no 'bad' or 'wrong' emotions. It is okay to feel sad, angry, lonely, afraid, anxious, upset, stuck… There is no shame in any of these. The important thing is to listen to how you are feeling. And if you are struggling to cope, talk to someone – a friend, parent, trusted adult or a listening service. How you feel is always valid.

🌟 Unlocking Your Child's Potential: Nurturing Both Sides of the Brain 🧠💡
Parents, ever wondered how to best support your child's development? Let's explore the fascinating world of left and right brain harmony, coupled with the magic of emotional intelligence! 🌈✨
🧠 **Right Brain Connection**: Begin by fostering creativity, imagination, and emotional expression. Engage in arts, music, and play to ignite the right side's vibrant energy. 🎨🎶 Let your child's emotions flow freely, building a foundation for empathy and self-awareness. 💖
🤝 **Emotional Intelligence Bridge**: Now, let's intertwine the right and left! Strengthen the bond with your child by acknowledging and understanding their feelings. Communication is key! 🗣️🤗
🧠 **Logical Left Brain Integration**: As your child's emotional intelligence flourishes, introduce structured activities that stimulate the left brain. Math, puzzles, and problem-solving games will help build their analytical skills. 🧩🔢
🚀 **Holistic Growth**: By nurturing both sides of the brain, you're giving your child the tools for comprehensive growth. Creativity and logic working hand in hand create a balanced, resilient, and adaptable individual. 🌐💪
🌟 **Key Takeaway**: Start with the heart, then engage the mind. The journey to a well-rounded, emotionally intelligent child begins with a dance between the right and left brain hemispheres. Let's raise extraordinary humans together! 🚀👧👦

"Raising kids starts with raising ourselves. 🌱💖
Our children are like mirrors, reflecting the values, behaviors, and attitudes they observe in us. As parents, let's strive to be the role models we want our kids to emulate.
💪 Cultivate self-awareness: Understand your own strengths and areas for growth.
🌈 Lead by example: Demonstrate the values you want your children to embrace.
🤝 Foster open communication: Create a safe space for your kids to express themselves.
Remember, the foundation of a resilient and compassionate future lies in the seeds we plant today. 🌱✨
