We’re BACK at for one last time this August then we’re on a break for two weeks! Find us there this Saturday from 10-3pm.

But wait..we need your help.. instead of having an august special, we thought we’d get you tell us what you would like to see make a comeback on Saturday.

Hearing perform 🔥. So many people gathered to watch!

What a time we had yesterday !! Thank you to everyone who sent messages of support and even showed up to get the goods.

Some highlights:
- seeing returning customers (some even brought their families along too) 🥹

- seeing friends I haven’t seen in years come to support us 🥰

- debuting our custard buns (y’all really loved the apple miso caramel custard bun esp🥳).

- witnessing the purchase of 11…yes you heard correctly.. 11 miso white choc cookies being sold to one family 🔥. Let that be a testament to how delicious they are.

What a delivery day it’s been!

Thank you for the orders and support! I’m finding more and more people are ordering the miso white chocolate cookies, although strangely I didn’t stop to take any photos of the cookies this time.

If you didn’t know, there are now new cookie flavours to choose from like yuzu lemon & cardamom; and miso white choc.

I was debating whether to take a break or work (deliver) around the days I’m away. Alas, after much consideration, the bakery will be closed for orders from today up until 28th August for some reprieve. Never fret, you can still get your hands on some goods this month(tba)!

All chocolate is fairtrade - mostly

Packaging is all recyclable/reusable. Made from recycled paper, cardboard. Don’t sell anything in plastic or polystyrene!

Howdy everybody 👋🏾 it’s sure been a while. I’ve been working on some things behind the scenes which have largely contributed to my inactivity here.

1. I’ve been sampling flours from , who use regenerative farming methods to grow their wheat. Instead of using chemicals to grow their crop, they plant their wheat alongside other plants, grasses and legumes (think beans and peas). Why you may ask? Because it enriches the soil, in turn creates a deeply flavourful, highly nutritious grain which is then stone milled into various flours. Perhaps you can tell I’m excited to use WF flours in the bakery 😎

2. Around the same time, I also applied to become a food maker with and I got accepted (thanks again Jack)! So, if you click my bio link, you’ll now see that you can order via the DELLI app. I’m excited to join the other food businesses already on the app to provide quality tasty food to you all. I’ll be dropping exclusive items/bundles via DELLI weekly so I’d really recommend you download the app, follow me and cop some bakes ☺️

3. I’ve changed the way you can order on the website (storekit). You can now order singles as well as boxes.

🚨BREAKING NEWS - reporting live from Bun Dat Bakery🚨

CINNAMON ROLL MUFFIN-STYLE

Made with the leftover cinnamon roll dough, this zero-waste bun is just as cinammony, sweet and tasty as the original. The scrap dough is layered with butter and cinnamon sugar then rolled up and baked in a muffin tray. (This version is unglazed btw).

What a week! Despite the few hiccups along the way (you’ve got to learn sometime right?!), I can say prepping, baking and delivering your orders was a success 🎉.

Overall, I made 8 deliveries 🙈. The milk bread and salted caramel double choc chunk cookies sold out!! And, it seems the most common things to order together are cinnamon rolls & milk bread.

It was really lovely to meet and speak to everyone who placed an order. Thank you once again for your support. Hope you order again 🥰.

The store opens again from midnight to Thursday 6pm, items are limited so don’t leave your order to the last minute.

What an overwhelming launch day yesterday 😭. The Milk Bread sold out on the first day!! All I can really say is thank you to everyone who shared about the bakery, messaged me words of support or placed an order 🙌🏾.
