Today was one of those days.
A strand test on a new client who has had her hair coloured with various stylists and wasn’t happy.
I listened to her concerns, analysed her hair and questioned her lots of her last few years of hair colouring.
I knew I probably couldn’t achieve her inspo. I decided to take a test cutting. Thank goodness I did 🙏🏻🙌🏻
I’m not afraid to say no.
If I feel I can’t achieve the look I will be honest.
We now have a new game plan, we have a colour booked.
Ive made her aware of how I work, what I feel I can do in one sitting and that her goal colour won’t be achieved in one sitting.
Oh and …. Home care !!!

Wow what a crazy few weeks. This is the first time I’ve had chance to sit down in my salon and drink a coffee !

Today marked the end of another journey in my career.
After relocating from Peterborough nearly 3 years ago, and renting a chair in 33 red Lion street salon.
