Raised garden beds are a great way to grow vegetables all year. Make them tough and they will last a very long time. The initial cost is soon forgotten when they do the job for many years.

Here’s the construction of 4 raised beds.
Each one is 1.2m x 1.2m x 0.8m high. (Inner 1.1 x 1.1) This configuration of 4 x H4 sleepers high holds about 0.9 cubic meters of soil. One less (3 high = 0.6m) does the same job and holds about 0.7 cubic meters of soil.

They are modular, stacking on top of each other to achieve the desired height. They are built using M10 150mm coach screws to ensure they last. Each box is adhered all the way around with a very strong construction adhesive and braced with hidden H4 treated uprights on the inside to create one solid unit.

These are virtually indestructible.

They can be made and delivered complete or be delivered as individual layers for assembly.
