Had the pleasure of matching for Stoke Staffs ABC on the 10th September. Biggest show I've matched to date - 20 bouter. Didn't lose a single bout on the scales 🥊

Just a little recap of the matching that went on in what was a fairly busy month. Had 4 shows all together.

First was show. I helped match some of that whilst the master Steve O'Rourke did the rest.

That went very well, all well matched bouts.

Third show was Silverdale ABC. A fair amount of pullouts and changes on this one. Even on the day had one club crash on the way and another couldn't find their boxing card during the weigh in.

Fourth and final show was HJP boxing club. Had a lot of pullouts for this one due to being right at the end of the season and being a bank holiday weekend. Did have 15 bouts on but one home lad came in heavy, one away lad came in heavy and another club didn't have their lads medical in date and so 12 went ahead.

One of the other shows I matched this month. This was again another matching first for me! First show I've matched where there was more than 16 bouts on.

18 bouts went ahead on this show!! Not a single bout lost on the scales, 50/50 win/loss.

A bunch of firsts for me last week. First time I've ever had more than 1 show in a week: last week I had 3 shows in 6 days!!!
It was tough work, but I handled it! Didn't lose a single bout on the scales in all 3 shows! All shows 50/50 Win/loss.

Last show was last Thursday: RG Boxing Club. First amateur show for them!! Matched 15 bouts, 14 went ahead - 1 didn't happen unrelated to matching. Look forward to working with again!!!

Will be putting a full review of 3 shows matched in March...perhaps the highlight of the 3 shows NOT one bout lost on the scales at any of those shows :-)

We have a number of clubs asking us about matching for specific boxers to get them bouts, definitely something we can do, message the page with your enquiry.

Presently we are going to be looking after 2 shows in March and 1 in April, then one to be finalised date wise potentially in May...
So there is capacity to fully manage, purely match make, or help and consult/assist on many more, message the page or use WhatsApp to get involved with us.
