‼️ UPDATE ‼️ UKRAINE DONATIONS ‼️
Due to the huge amount of donations we have received already, we are having to do a cut off point as of tomorrow 5pm - 15/03/22. The generosity has been amazing and we would love to continue but unfortunately the volume of donations is getting beyond our capability to transport to the farm in order to get taken over to Ukraine. We would like to thank everybody who has so far donated.

In conjunction with Sandfields Farms as seen on BBC Midlands today, we are taking any donations for the Ukrainian refugees. Listed below are the items which we will accept. Please drop off anything you are able to donate to our offices in both Burntwood and Atherstone. Please feel free to drop off any donations between 9am -5pm Monday to Friday. Below you will find the poster from Sandfields farm. If you require any further information, feel free to drop us a message.

- Warm clothes for all ages.
- Children’s shoes
- Blankets and towels
- Toiletries
- First aid supplies
- Sanitary supplies
- Nappies
- Non perishable food
- Small household goods such as crockery, cutlery, pots and pans
- Children’s drawing books, pens and crayons

We are not accepting any electrical goods, lots of toys, or furniture.

We are looking for 2 x full time HGV class 1 / LGV C+E drivers.
Applicant to have a full HGV class 1 / LGV C+E licence, minor points considered, but no DD codes.
Must have a Digi Tacho card & Driver CPC card.
Extensive experience is preferred.
Container experience would be beneficial but not essential.
Duties to include delivering/collect shipping containers nationwide, UK and the other position is delivering / collecting Euroliner trailers from the Port of Killingholme to nationwide destinations.
Hours are 45+ per week, 5 x days weekly plus occasional Saturday mornings.
Nights out will be required.
Work related bonus performance paid.

Now, when food and toilet paper supply depends only on us the drivers, it's time for people to understand what transport means for the economy.

Not only doctors, police officers and firefighters fight on the front lines. Drivers are also the first line of fight. If drivers paralyzed with fear quit their job, who would bring medication, food, fuel ?

Maybe now society will appreciate their work. The driver is not a dog in a kennel that can be pushed around. The driver is a hero who, despite the threat of being infected with a virus, still works and does what belongs to him. Such a little hero that nobody appreciates. Only now will people realize who we are transport people.

So next time you’re stuck behind a lorry, don’t curse, remember us drivers are doing our best to keep this country going.......
