A kind notice to our customers that we will be reopening our doors to the public on the 15th June, in line with government advice.

We are looking to hire an experienced sewing machinist to become a part of our team.

As the role will primarily involve sewing, applicants must have prior experience working with an industrial sewing machine.

The successful candidate will initially be employed on a part-time trial basis with a view to making their role full-time.

Sometimes you don’t need to make radical changes in order to breathe new life into furniture.

This fantastic antique wooden two seater came in with its fabric worn and the seat collapsed. We stripped it down and replaced the webbing and foam, before finishing it in a striped pattern fabric with braid. A truly classic furniture piece!

This genuine Parker Knoll 3 piece suite with wingback arms looked somewhat dated in its decor.

We’ve reupholstered the two armchairs in a red Laura Ashley fabric, and completed the two seater in a contrasting cream, with red piping to match.

Over the last couple of days we’ve been away working on the pub seating for the main area at The Clifford Arms in Great Haywood.

The seats had taken quite a bit of wear over the years. We stripped them down and reupholstered them in a red faux-leather fabric, finishing the look with deep buttons. Good as new!

This antique wing-back armchair had suffered the effects of wear and tear over its lifespan.

We stripped it down to the frame, padded it out with fresh foam & new feathers for the seat cushion, finishing it in a bottle-green fabric with braided trim above the legs for a fantastic finish.
