⚠️ CLUMSY MOMENT ⚠️
When we install CCTV camera(s) 🎥 we will go the extra mile to disguise cables. We will fish cables through walls and under floorboards where possible or look for other alternatives.

Like we did on this property!

We fished the cables through the walls, lifting carpets and floor boards to disguise the cables.

HOWEVER 🤦‍♂️ when we came to connect it all up at the NVR/DVR location only one camera came on and the other was still blank.

😬 For those in trade you will relate to the oh no feeling.

Due to my clumsiness I within a matter of half an hour forgot I placed a cable behind the wall😂 I then put a screw straight through the power cable ⚡️ 🤦‍♂️

We always leave excess cable! Job was rectified and sorted

Car theft is one of the highest criminal activities occurring within the UK

Take steps to prevent and deter it

Step 1;
First thief stands within close proximity of the vehicle and uses device to relay received signals to the second thief.

Step 2;
Second thief stande as close to the house as possible, typically by the front door, holding the second device

Step 3;
The second device transmits the relayed signal up to 10-15 metres into the house.

Step 4;
When the key stored in the house receives the signal it replies in a normal manner, fooling the system into thinking the owner is close by with the key, allowing entry into the vehicle. A second relay is required for them to start the ignition which the car thinks that the scanning device is now the key.

Do you want an analogue DVR or NVR?

Now, what type of quality are you looking for? Did you know that cameras have different megapixels? For example, 2MP, 4MP, 5MP, 8MP, 12MP.

Starting from the low end of the megapixels and working your way up means you will get much more of a clear image. As you go up, the megapixels are compressed together, providing you with a better, clearer image but this also comes with a cost.

2MP IP Doorbell/intercom which can enhance your home security linking this device to your existing CCTV setup which becomes a doorbell/intercom.

We can set this system up in many ways such as;

Link it with a 7inch monitor inside your property which allows you to talk to whoever is at the front door from inside your own home.

Link it to your mobile device, when the doorbell has been pressed it will then ring your phone. You will be able to talk to whoever is at your front door.

We can also link this up with a IC-Card reader which allows access to your property when granted.

This will be hardwired straight to your broadband which prevents Wi-Fi breakage like you see with ring doorbells.

NPR (Number Plate Recognition)

This unique 2MP camera has had its settings adjusted so that number plates can be easily viewed, this means even at night and with a car's full beam on the NPR camera will be able to pick up a clear image of the number plate.

Please be aware that this is NOT an ANPR camera. The camera settings have been adjusted to see registrations. IR cameras cannot do this due to the reflection off the vehicle registration plate back into the camera lens which blurs the VRM.

if being viewed as a normal camera the image will appear darker, this is normal as this 'screen' helps to make any number plate coming into view more prominent.

This camera does not store shots of the VRM on the system like an ANPR camera but does record the incident.
