During the 12-day beer festival, a range of 30 real ales, including five from overseas brewers, will be available.

Pubs will host the festival from Wednesday 6 March to Sunday 17 March, inclusive.

The five overseas brewers are from Belgium, Germany, Italy, Taiwan and the USA.

Among the festival collection are vegan beers (suitable for vegetarians).

As well as featuring a selection of malt and hop varieties from around the world, there are also beers which, among their ingredients, include chocolate and vanilla pods.

The festival line-up includes Spring Frenzy (Daleside Brewery), Grizzly Bear IPA (Shepherd Neame), Disco Macaw (Redpoint Brewing, Taiwan), Crafty Fox (Hook Norton Brewery), Bite the Bullet! (Oakham Ales), Bingo Lady (The Lost Abbey Brewing Company, USA), Chocolate Ale (Leikeim Brewery, Germany), Parts and Labour (Rooster’s Brewery), Germain (Brouwerij De Bock, Belgium), Roasted Nuts (Rebellion Brewery) and Falstaff (Birrificio Gregorio, Italy).

We had some elves visit us today!!
Did anyone see them?

It was a great turn out, with lots of happy, smiley faces.
All children got to have breakfast, a drink and a snack with the Elves and then got to take part in lots of different craft activities. There was a few rounds of pass the parcel & the Elves even danced to some Christmas songs.

When it was time to leave, each child recieved a Christmas Goodie bag and a Christmas present off the Elves.

CAMRA - the Campaign for Real Ale

Have you ever wanted to go to an Oktoberfest event?
Well coming to a pub near you is our very own...

A two day event, filled with plenty of ales, staff in fancy dress as well as a few photo booth banners up around the pub so you can all take some selfies.

For these two days, all ales will be served in dimpled tankard pint glasses (unless requested not too)

WE INVITE ALL OF YOU TO COME DOWN AND JOIN US IN DRESSING UP AND CELEBRATING THIS YEARS AUTUMN ALE FESTIVAL!

We have had a few enquiries in regards to the World Cup final.

Of course we will be showing it!
It will be shown on our projector screen in the raised area, as well as the television infront of the bar.

England will play Spain in the Women’s World Cup final at 11am on Sunday 20 August, with both teams looking to win the competition for the first time.

Who is bringing it home?

The latest wetherspoons news it out now, you'll find these in all the menu stands and on the condiment table.

We have been lucky enough to be featured in it three times this time around!

Over the summer holidays we will have some goodies bags and pick & mix bags for sale which you will find on the bar.

All money raised from the sale of these items will go to the charity we work with Young Lives VS Cancer.

So, last night was Bingo night & what a fun night it was!!
Filled with laughter, smiles and winners!

We are proud of every single person who took part in thr hike, they have raised a fantastic amount for Young Lives VS Cancer!

Misson Snowdon Complete ✅️

On Tuesday 13th June some of our spoonies and non spoonies set off at 7.30am to make the journey to Snowdon.
They set off around 10.30am and reached the summit around 2pm. It was such a difficult hike and the weather was absolutely scorching!

A couple hours down hill and they made the finish line and we set back off on our journey home.

It's safe to say every single one of them are suffering with sun burn and aching legs, some more than others.

We haven't counted up all the donations as of yet as the deadline for receiving donations or sponsors is this Sunday. So if anyone would like to donate towards this event there is still a bucket on the bar for them.

All money raised goes to Young Lives VS Cancer!

Last month we brought back Johnny's bingo night! It had a great turn out, and lots of you showed up.

It's back this Tuesday 25th April!

There are prizes for a line, 2 lines and a full house.

The countdown is on... just under a month left before our staff climb snowden to raise money for Young Lives VS Cancer.

To help us raise sponsor money for this event we have a popped a new raffle out on the bar.

A box of classic beers is up for grabs, it could even double up as fathers day present which is coming up soon!

If anybody would like to buy any tickets please just ask at the bar.

On the 13th June, several members of our staff will be hiking up Snowden to raise money for Young Lives VS Cancer.
This is a nine-mile challenge where we will develop a sense of wonder and intrigue about Yr Wyddfa, the mountain, as we ascend 1,085 metres to the summit.

If anyone would like to sponsor the staff or make a donation please just ask a manager on duty how to go about this.

Over the next week we will be putting up a poster about it all, as well as a donation bucket.

Today, Wetherspoon's pubs across the UK will be marking His Majesty The King's coronation by serving a specially brewed real ale. Theakston Crowning Glory (4.2% ABV) is being produced for the occasion by Theakston Brewery, based at Masham in North Yorkshire.

Throughout the day we will be have on screen the coronation events.

Join the nation in toasting King Charles III during the coronation weekend with us.
