My clinic will not be open this Thursday & Friday due to a family hospital commitment. Apologies for any inconvenience.
What is Therapeutic Ultrasound? It speeds up the healing process of tissue injuries. If you are carrying an injury and need to play this weekend book a Sports Massage and I'll do my best to get you fit. www.daoholisic.com
I have some changes to my avalibilty to report.
From now on my clinic is closed on Tuesday with later openings on Thursday & Friday evening. I am now available Saturday mornings. To book your appointment wwww.daoholistic.com and look for Sports Massage on the Treatments page.
I am now qualified in the use of Therapeutic Ultrasound so if you have a minor muscle tear, we can get you back to full fitness much quicker. I benefited from this in my playing career (oh so many moons ago) and it is a proven reliable treatment.

Carefully analyzing the new regulations concerning Tameside being placed into tier 3, I can inform you I am still taking appointments as all Covid prevention measures are all in place. Feeling stressed; a deep tissue massage may be just what you need.
My new face covering has arrived.
Do you suffer from tightness in any of these zones? Using the pain index in the bottom right-hand corner (1= light discomfort - 5 = searing pain), are you denying yourself the treatment you need?
This is a quick introducton of myself.
Plantar Fasciitis is tenderness in the soul of the foot, usually caused by tendonitis of the Plantar Fascia at its connection with the Calcaneus (Heel Bone).
Distance runners often suffer this condition and relief can be found with the use of a Tennis Ball (or a Cricket Ball if you feel brave.).
Sit with the ball at the base of your toes. Using some downward force, roll the sole of your foot over the ball until it reaches the heel. Most importantly, only roll with force towards the heel (and towards the inflammation). Adding force towards the toes will only irritate the already inflamed area of the Plantar Fascia. If you wish to add more force, simply stand up whilst performing the exercise.
There are some simple stretches that can help such as pulling your toes back gently with your hand.
As always, if symptoms persist, seek medical advice from a qualified Doctor or Physiotherapist.
I hope you find this useful and if there is any common condition you would like to know more about, let me know and I shall endeavor to find some useful tips
All COVID procedures in place. I await your presence.
Hopefully, we shall hear some good news soon. I have completed a COVID 19 return to work course and have generated a new flyer. In the meantime, if you would like a free consultation or some free advice you can contact me on zoom (PMI 319 744 9754).
