My first project as a self-employed interior designer!
For the lovely Lisa and Richard and their beautiful home in the Chilterns. We recreated the Master Bedroom shown here and the ground floor (pics to follow!).
Due to the plague of 2020 it was hard to get a job so I decided to bite the bullet and try and find my own projects - and four years later here I am!🙏🏼

Throwback Friday! ..and a boutique hotel in Armenia I had the pleasure of working on in 2016.
I am currently working on designs for a farm shop café and this week have been looking at outside terrace concepts.
Having spent my career of over twenty years largely working for global companies trying to increase profit margins and market share I now get a lot of joy and satisfaction from helping small (or medium) sized businesses grow and get to the next level.
DM me or email me at [email protected] if you or your colleagues/partners have ideas brewing and want to meet for a chat and explore options.
Have a great weekend.

Another lovely Grantham shop front, but empty. Sadly a common story in Grantham town centre. The proposed designer retail village on the outskirts seems to be making no progress either (not sure what's going on there) but not convinced - by Bicester's example - that any wealth derived here would reach Grantham town centre anyway.
A tad chilly 🚴🏼♂️🥶 but worth it for the most amazing Apricot & Pistachio pastry😍
Revealing the essential beauty of a building while inserting a considered set of modern touches. Something I continually assess in my approach and clients requests and steer the design accordingly i.e. not over-doing the modernization and instead trying to achieve a balanced whole with elegant modernist touches. Or in two words..

Takeaway shop materials/finishes
Harlaxton Manor....a curious mix of architectural styles that is mesmerising when you see it up close🧐 Jacobean, Elizabethan, Baroque it's all there, in a Victorian country house 🙌
Takeaway shop in progress. Concept approved by client so now drawing up in CAD. Which inherently adds an accurate sense of scale to the design. So you have moments of joy when the concept works as you'd planned, i.e it fits! followed by sudden moments of oh b******s that's not going to work, so lots of re-jigging / puzzle solving.
Throwback Friday and a slightly unusual concept I worked on to convert an old church into a high-end residence. These kinds of projects are fun in that they are unique but obviously throw a lot of challenges at you(!). And this one was not only unusually large but also bang in the middle of Chelsea😳
Not everyone's cup of tea granted. Would you live in a church?
Challenging preconceived expectations and taking Takeaway shops to the next level. Watch this space for developments on that!
Dining room with TV wall flanked by two built-in display cabinets. The ribbon of glass, set beneath the dining room’s TV wall, providing a peep at the plants in the garden is a nice touch.
