After a free week last week, the teams were back to the pitches this morning ⚽️🥅

The Blues faced a decent opposition today, but started off the game pretty well. They caused our opponents some problems going forward, moving the ball quickly and took advantage of the pace we had up top.
As the team started the second half, they lost a bit of discipline out of possession which led to more space for our opponents to exploit. Tough one for the Blues today, but as always it’s all about learning and improving 👏👍

Well done to Logan who was awarded a POTM award from our opponents coaches and to Levi who was awarded our coaches POTM award 🙌 🏆

Next we had the Greens game. The team took an early lead with a wonder strike, and were just unlucky to not find the back of the net again in this half, with no one on the end of some quality cut backs and crosses into the box. Into the second half, once again another quick goal. From there was only one team in it, the Greens dominated their game right to the end. All round a very impressive performance and great attitude from each player. It was good to see a lot of different names in the scoresheet 👏👍

Our Green team kicked off today's fixtures with a game of two halves. The first half of the game was dominated by our opponents, but into the second half the team came back fighting, paid off with a few goals and a clean sheet 👍⚽️

Our Blue team started their game really well, playing football the right way and defended well. There was lots of positive passes throughout, they created chances in front of goals and every player worked well for one another 👍⚽️

A humbling day of football for both our teams yesterday.

Our Blue and Green teams came up against two very strong opponents and despite both teams putting their all into their games, they just couldn't get the win.

Despite the results, there was a number of brilliant individual performances in both games 🙌👏

What a day for a game of football! ☀️🥵

Our Blue team kicked off this weekends fixtures against a really strong side. They started the game off really well, solid in their shape and for the first half it was a tight game. The team created many chances in front of goal and were just unlucky to not find the back of the net. Despite the hot conditions, every player gave their all, right to final whistle. Well done boys 👍👏

Our Green team started their game off well and continued throughout, with a great competitive game for both sides. They were aggressive on and off the ball, made numerous accurate passes and created chances in front of goal, which saw them scoring a few great goals! From back to front it was an exceptional display of quality and pure grit and determination, working hard for one another. Well done boys 👍👏

The season kicked off this morning and what a start it was! Both teams were excited to be back, even more so to show off their new strips for the 9 a side season 🔴⚽️

The Blue team had a positive start, pressing high up the pitch which caught out their opponents time and time again. Their bravery on and off the ball was very impressive as was their work rate. The team performance could not be faulted. A superb start 🙌👏

The Green team also gave an impressive game. They dominated possession of the ball for almost all of the game, limiting their opponents to very few chances. Their determination to win the ball back and work for each other was great to watch. A good strong start to the season 🙌👏

The referee commented on how impressive our defence kept the line each time in both games and how disciplined the teams were in their shape!
