Introducing our next lecturer of the day 👉 Fiona Connell

Lecture: Health & Nutrition for dancers

Fiona grew up dancing in Canada and has been teaching Highland and Ballet for 33 years. As a teacher and Judge, Fiona has lived and taught around the world in Canada, England, Bermuda and now Scotland. As a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, Fiona has a particular interest in helping Highland dancers enhance their fitness and well-being alongside lessons and practice sessions.

At the lecture, Fiona will be talking about the role of nutrition in optimising dance performance and how we as teachers and coaches can help encourage healthy eating and lifestyle choices for our dancers.

We had so much fun performing and serving at the Seniors’ Christmas dinner at The Forth Inn on Monday. The wee ones were fab, some of them performing for the first time! Big shout out to the dance parents who braved the flooding 💦 🌊 to get their kiddos to the performance 💪🏼 and who rocked their first ‘Highland bun’.
