Buchlyvie Village Hall
Welcome to Buchlyvie Village Hall. Available to hire for clubs, groups, private parties, weddings.
Tomorrow night, Tuesday 13th August.
Going forward, if we are to be having more community events in the hall, now the village is publess, it would be good to get suggestions from locals. We have the screen and licence so can show things you might have watched on TV in the pub and then there are lots of other options.
Already proposed are a ceilidh, cinema night 🍿📽️, club night 🪩🕺🏼💃🏼, showing the Rugby Autumn tests and Six Nations.
We could show the Euros final if anyone wants?
Please let us know and we can get some dates arranged.
Also please follow Buchlyvie Village Hall page
Thank you.
As well as Dance exercise on Tuesday mornings and Physio led Pilates on Wednesday nights we now have a new exercise class in Buchlyvie Village Hall on Monday evenings. Disco Boxing is a great way to burn some calories and get your fitness levels up, with music and lights to give you a boost! 🪩🥊🥊.
The dance exercise and pilates classes you can just turn up, Disco Boxing should be booked in advance.
Give one or more of them a go, you might just enjoy it and maybe even meet some new people!
Did you know you can order from local suppliers on The Food Hub and collect from Buchlyvie Village Hall on a Thursday evening?
Lots of excellent produce including Craigievern Pork and eggs, Duncan family farms lamb and mutton, Ballaird veg, and many other suppliers with cakes, jams and lots of other delicious products.
You can also buy refills of laundry and bathing products, take your own bottles and save on some plastic waste.
Market closes at midnight on a Tuesday for Thursday evening collection.
The community fridge is also open during collection time, keep an eye on posts by The Food Hub for info.
Orders are open for our first Open Food Network market.

Just a reminder Buchlyvie 10K is on this Saturday. Please could the car parking spaces at hall door be left empty for the portaloos arriving on Friday.
The hall and car park will be very busy with the runners on Saturday.
Thank you.
Flytipping in the hall car park again, right in front of the signs that tell them not to, total laziness.
We have requested another cardboard recycling bin to help folk get rid of that, but no excuse leaving bin bags.
Reported to the council and it will be uplifted at the taxpayers expense.
Collection from the market available at the hall on a Thursday evening. Lots of great local produce.
At the front door of the hall we have a defibrillator. A number of people have commented that they would not feel confident using it in an emergency situation. On Monday 6th November, 6.30-8.30pm there will be an opportunity to learn CPR and how to use a defibrillator. Training will be provided by Trossachs Search and Rescue.
There are a limited number of spaces available and booking is essential. Please message this page or Leanne Neil to book your free space.
Donations to Trossachs Search and Rescue Team welcomed on the night.
This Wednesday 16th August, 4-7pm there is a public consultation in the hall regarding the proposed development at Benview. Site of garden centre and lodges currently. It is a drop in and chance to look at plans etc.
