Welcome coach Victor Peredo, the new head coach of the Stirling Clansmen.

Coach Peredo has a long history in the sport and with the Clansmen. He started playing at age 13 in Mexico, then joined the Clansmen 20 years ago as the starting middle linebacker. After his time playing, he joined the Clansmen coaching staff where he coached for 12 years and won two BUCS Premiership Championships. Coach Peredo then took on the role of Clansmen head coach from 2015 to 2021, winning another BUCS Premiership Championship in 2016.

Since 2022, coach Peredo has been the head coach of the Edinburgh Wolves, who made their first BAFA Premierships playoff appearance in 2023.

Coach Peredo brings this wealth of experience and success, along with an extensive and experienced coaching staff with him as he returns to the Clansmen.

We are extremely excited for the upcoming season and to have coach Peredo back!

Most valuable player: William Stevens #55 OL/DL

This is W***y’s second MVP award, winning it in back to back years, a true testament to his hard work and dedication. Since joining the team three years ago he has developed into a formidable presence on both offence and defence. W***y had a standout game against Aberdeen this year with 4 TFL, 1 sack, 1 FF, 1.5 tackles and zero sacks allowed. W***y is an incredibly hard working player on and off the field and has become a vocal leader, contributing to the teams success.
Congratulations William Stevens

πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†

Players player of the year: Cameron Gass, #6 WR

Cammy joined the team 4 years ago as a true rookie and has developed into an excellent wide receiver and leader. He took on the role of president last year and captain this year, two spots where he excelled. Cammy is always the loudest and hardest working player on the field, making clutch catches and filling in on defence when needed. He truly cares about his teammates and their growth, pushing them beyond what they thought possible. A true leader by his actions, Cammy will be missed and the Clansmen wish him the best for his future. Congratulations Cameron Gass

πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†

Heart award: Joe Hall #53 OL/LB

Joe joined the team two years ago and from day one displayed a great passion to compete on the field. He won Defensive Rookie of The Year last season and follows that up with the Heart award this year. This season saw him step into a position that he was unfamiliar with on the offensive line. Battling through injury, Joe always did what he could for the team and stepped up when needed. He has already proven himself as an important member within the team and we hope his success continues going into next year. Congratulations Joe Hall

πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†

Defensive player of the year: Nicolas Paccaud #9 LB

Nic is in his fourth and final year on the team after moving from Switzerland to play and study in Stirling. Throughout his time with the Clansmen Nic has shown incredible dedication and passion towards the club on and off the field. He has been a force of nature on the defence and problem for opposing offences. Nic will missed a lot but we wish him luck for his future in football. Congratulations Nicolas Paccaud

πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†

Offensive player of the year: Jaxen Fischer #14 QB

Jaxen joined us in September coming all the way from Saskatchewan, Canada. In his rookie season he led the team to its first win in a year and put up 210 passing yards and four touchdowns in the process. He continued throwing dimes all season and we are excited to see what the future holds for him as a Clansmen. Congratulations Jaxen Fischer

Special teams of player of the year: TC Masango #8 PR/KR

Playing on almost all special teams units TC has proven himself as a versatile weapon on special teams. In his main role as KR he is able to use his speed and agility to continuously make defenders miss, not to mention also leading the team in 4.5 tackles on kickoff and punt (he also racked up 223 yards and TD at running back). This is TC’s second year on the team and we can’t wait to see him develop even further as an incredible multi-faceted weapon. Congratulations TC Masango

πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†

Lineman of the year : William Stevens #55 OL/DL

Another year and another award for W***y as he dominated in the trenches all season. W***y had an almost flawless year on offence, anchoring the OL while also racking up pressures as dominant force on defence. W***y has proven himself to be the ultimate team player and we are excited to see what his fourth year as a Clansman holds. Congratulations William Stevens

πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†

Most improved player: Yaser Lamsatfi #21

Yaser has made great strides in his play since picking up the sport two years ago. He stepped up this year as a starting OLB after not having much game time the year before and improved in every game he played. Yaser is always focused on elevating his game and asking questions about how to improve. He has built a great football foundation and we can’t wait to see what he brings next year. Congratulations Yaser Lamsatfi

24/04/2024

πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†

Offensive rookie of the year: Jay McPherson #18 WR

Jay has been an excellent addition to the Stirling offence putting up 221 yards, 14 receptions, a 2 point conversion and 3 TD on the year. With top tier, speed, agility and quickness, Jay is a nightmare in the open field and adds a great explosive element to the offence. We hope Jay can build on this season and develop into a elite weapon. Congratulations Jay McPherson

24/04/2024

πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†

Defensive rookie of the year: Miles Cooke #20 CB

Ever since Miles joined the team this year he’s shown great consistency and dedication towards the club, rarely missing gym sessions or training. He is always curious to learn more and is a extremely coachable player. A highlight on the year came when he got his first pick against Aberdeen, showing a glimpse of his play making abilities. With his elite size, length and speed Miles has all the physical tools to become a great CB. We hope he can keep improving his game for next year. Congratulations Miles Cook
