The Stirling Symposium is a student led think-tank and networking event. Our next event will be held in Stirling town centre on March 7th 2018 at CodeBase.
The Stirling Symposium (formerly the University of Stirling Symposium) is a student-led think tank and networking event held annually in the city of Stirling which launched in September 2015. The symposium launched with the goal to enhance students' career prospects, engage students to think about their future, and to bring students an unbelievable chance to network with high level professionals,

University of Stirling's newest society are looking for students who enjoy socialising and want to develop their networking skills further.
We'll have our own stall during Fresher's Week so please come by to ask any potential questions or just to have a chat!

Contract Scotland will be delivering the workshop "SMEs - why we should be trending amongst graduates" during the Symposium and we hope you are as excited for it as we are!🙌🏼👇🏼
"99.9% of all private sector businesses in the UK are Small to Medium Enterprises (SME’s), so why do most Graduates ignore them in any job search? Contract Scotland are one of those SME’s – an £20m+ turnover business based locally in Stirling.
In this interactive workshop, some key members of the Contract Scotland team will work with you to answer several important questions (as well as any others you can think of!)
What is an SME anyway?
What can an SME give me vs a major multi-national employer?
What can I achieve in an SME?
Am I the right kind of person to work in an SME?"

This will be taken by Handelsbanken, you can learn what they do and the opportunities they have. They run a summer internship programme, so come along to find out more.
