What an end to the 2023-24 season!
Thunder did us proud in the Mixed Age category with a score of 35.93 for their last Stranger Things skate.
Thunder underwent some changes this year with some of our fabulous Blizzard skaters joining the team, and some of our adults leaving to join Storm. We can't wait to see what they will achieve next season!
Blizzard were second to skate and scored 19.39, a 3 point PB!
Blizzard have had a great season and have gone from our smallest team post COVID to being a full team of 16 with alternates!
It was some of our skaters' first season of competing and they have done us all proud. Well done Blizzard!
Storm took to the ice on Sunday in their Advanced Adult Debut and came away with 26.33, setting their own personal best and coming away with a gold medal to show for it.
It's a testament to our skaters and coaches that they could produce a program like this with only 7 training sessions! We look forward to seeing what this team can do next season.
Tornado were our last to skate, coming away with a seasons best of 19.64.
Like Thunder, Tornado underwent a lot of changes this year with some skaters moving into Storm. And would you believe 5 of our 12 skaters were brand new to competition this season, with several joining from our beginner adult team Frost!
Well done Tornado - onwards and upwards to next season!

🌟 Introducing Starlight Storm 🌟
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that following a transitional season of team restructure, Starlight Storm will take to the ice at Steel City Trophy in the Advanced Adult Category!
We are grateful for the opportunity to further develop the skills of our Adult skaters and to field Scotland's first Advanced Adult team 😍💜

A belated message from the club to say a massive well done to all our teams at Trophy d'Ecosse a few weeks ago!
Starlight Thunder and Starlight Tornado both improved their scores from Britannia Cup 🤩
Starlight Blizzard took to the ice for the first time this season, and for the first time ever in competition for some skaters, and skated a strong programme, coming away with a bronze medal 🥉

What a weekend at the Britannia Cup in Nottingham!
