Our colleagues are spreading festive cheer this December by volunteering with Operation Christmas Child. 🎄❤️

We caught up to discuss what is like for him.

Q1. Hi Del, what does a typical day look like for you?

DT: My typical day involves driving Sales and delivery of cutting-edge Industrial IoT solutions. I lead diverse teams, ensuring seamless integration of data acquisition, cloud platforms, and value. So as you can imagine, every day is a fun day!

Q2. What is your favourite thing about working at RS?

DT: The dynamic environment allows me to lead teams in creating and implementing solutions that leverage Industrial IoT technologies. Witnessing the tangible impact of our work, particularly in providing invaluable data insights.

Q3. Describe one of your best work memories?

DT: One of the standout moments in my career was the achievement of our startup winning a significant global customer. Observing the team's dedication and expertise culminate in securing international business was truly gratifying.

Hannah McKeirnan MSci Product Design - University of Strathclyde

We asked Hannah what her motivation was to join the Connect the Community Design Challenge: “As a product designer I am dedicated to designing for the future. And I am motivated to design products that are innovative and sustainable.”

Hannah’s entry Buddy was one of the 10 winning entries in the RS Components, Nordic Semiconductor ASA and Cadent competition aiming to address issues faced by those living in isolation, using IoT technologies.
