Know anyone with ADHD ? Hello peeps. Long time no see. Sorry for the lack of engagement recently, I have been rushed off my feet.

I just wanted to let you know that I recently acquired certification in working as a Virtual Assistant, (doing free lance administration) for entrepreneurs and business owners who have ADHD.

It was an eye opener. So many people with ADHD struggle in the workplace and turn to self employment. Quite often they have brilliant ideas but their daily struggle with ADHD means that they find it hard keeping on top of things. The inevitable downward spiral of self hate, emotional turmoil and loss of motivation robs them of the success they truly deserve.

It's worth letting anyone you know, who struggles with ADHD, that they may be entitled to administration support funding, ADHD work-based coaching and practical aids through the Government Funded Access to Work Scheme. A quick Google will find the info- FB doesn't like us to leave the Meta verse so no link here sigh.

I get such a sense of excitement about the simple fact that the nights are getting shorter. Not to mention that I have already spotted green shoots in the garden which will flower in late March.

We have so much to look forward to- milder weather, that oh so fleeting verdant green of new growth on shrubs and trees and being able to be out doors without constantly wishing we were back inside snuggled up on the sofa.

New Year is usually a damp squib- I'm usually over the festive period by then. Too much cheese, home made pate and wine will do that to a person. For me, the world already turned on the 21st of December and all the good stuff of Christmas is still in front of us.
