Why Accountability Matters!

JAMES IS GETTING RIPPED 💪🏻

A BIG shoutout to James Reilly for his progress with us so far

James came to us wanting to grow lean muscle and look more defined.
As you can see he has clearly achieved that over the last few months with us.

James is very dedicated and always hits his sessions with good intensity each week. We have had him on a progressive hypertrophy and strength programme and honed in on his nutrition.

So far he has lost 6kg of fat mass and gained 4kg of muscle 🔥

Another thing to point out is his postural change. He came to us with a slight scoliosis and muscle tone on his right, which has balanced out a lot through the right muscle releases and exercises.

We can’t wait for more progress and gains 💪🏻

WOULD YOU BE HAPPY? 🤔😁

Losing an average of 1-2 kg per month for 15 months if it meant you lost a life changing 15kg + of fat mass by the 15th month??? 😮

😮 1000 DAYS IN A ROW!! ?? 😲

Our good friend and client at Sozo Gym Matthew Bush has today reached 1000 consecutive days of movement goals on his apple watch 💪🏻

Come rain or shine, he’s kept up a standard of activity every day. Whether it be his scheduled workouts, movement, walking or heart rate.

An absolute fantastic achievement and a testiment to the consistency and results he’s acheived with us in nearly 3 years 🥇 🏆

Tonight I set him a 1000 rep workout which was really fun… for me to watch 🤣

WELL DONE MATT! Here’s to another 1000 😂

“Guys! I need to tell you about my knee” 😃

Having just got back from snowboarding🏂 , our client Peter Stockton at Sozo Gym had some positive news to share with me. 👍🏻

When he came to us 3 weeks ago, he told me he’d had an ongoing issue with knee pain.
It was important to get him doing the right exercises, working on the right ranges of movement and building strength around the joint within his programme. This is to ensure he could work on his other goals and not be hindered long term by pain and disfunction.
With some specific exercise choices and hard work from him, he was so happy to inform me he was pain free!

“I’ve just done a week snowboarding, pretty full on all day every day and usually when I get back from doing that, I’m in so much pain. This time I’ve had no pain at all, I can’t believe it”

Below is a picture of Peter doing a Poliquin Step, one of the key exercises in getting him pain free.

PRE WORKOUTS PART 1 🤯

Before you even consider a ‘pre workout’…

YOU SHOULD MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE BASICS IN CHECK 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

✅NUTRITION IN ORDER. You are fueling your body appropriately for the goal and performance you require. Many are not doing this.

✅PERIODISED TRAINING PHASES. You training has an overall strategy. This includes - Macro, Meso and Micro cycles. This allows for you to maximise training gains for peak performance, decrease the risk of injury, and prevent training plateaus.

✅REST/RECOVERY PROTOCOLS - If you don’t have your sleep and stress under control then adding in a pre workout can be like adding more fuel to a fire and be counter productive. Quality sleep and well managed stress will do wonders for your training compare to any pre workout.
