🚨This is your reminder that in a weeks time, all cats over 20 weeks of age MUST be microchipped. Call to book in or you can book online through our website www.huntsvets.co.uk
From 10 June 2024 cats over 20 weeks old must be and registered on a compliant database 📆
By microchipping their cats, owners can increase the likelihood that they will be reunited with their beloved pet if they go missing.
More information on how to get your cat microchipped can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/get-your-dog-cat-microchipped

To all of our lovely clients: Please don't leave your pets poops at the side of our building. We understand they might need to go, especially if a trip to the vets is particularly stressful, but we have bins at the side of the carpark, one even specifically for dog waste. Thank you ☺️
🌷This Spring🌻 please be aware of the hazards that can make cats and dogs poorly.
We want to ensure all our clients know that our out-of-hours provider, Vets Now, is here for you while we are closed this Easter bank holiday.

⚠️ Severe Weather Warning ⚠️
Storm Jocelyn is on her way to the UK, bringing with her extremely strong winds and yellow rain warnings with northern areas most likely to be affected.
If you have outdoor rabbits, please take precaution.
⛈️ Ensure outdoor housing is well protected from the elements, including strong wind and rain. Consider covering housing with blankets or tarpaulin.
☔ See that housing is raised, particularly in high-risk flooding areas.
🏠 In extreme circumstances, bring outdoor rabbits inside into a cool room, such as a garage or conservatory, and keep them away from strong smells and noises.
Update!
Poynton clinic is back up and running after the burst pipe and flood yesterday. Unfortunately our lab machines have been affected so all lab samples need to be sent to the external lab for the time being until ours are replaced.
Thank you for everyone’s patience and understanding 🐾
