WOW! A few weeks ago we put a post out requesting baby beanies for the local premature baby department and you have all blown us away!! 🥹

The last count was well over 100 beanies over 60 bonding square plus lots of adorable hand made blankets! That’s a lot of cozy babies 🧶

The beanie drive will be running until the end of September so you’ve still got plenty of time to grab some scrap yarn and get crafting 🫶🏻

We’ve had so many of you in last week getting your Autumn/ Winter makes ready! Lots of cable jumpers, gansey sweaters and some super cozy beanies 🍁 This gorgeous selection from is produced Wales and is completely undyed, showing the true beauty of natural fibres 🐑

🤍 BEANIE DRIVE 🤍

A project that’s been in the works for some time & we’re so excited about 🫶🏻 we are looking for donations for beanies, bonding squares, bonnets, jackets and baby booties all going to the Stockport Stepping Hill NICU department for premature & ill babies.

These can be crochet or knit, in any colours (so a great stash buster 🧶) if you don’t knit or crochet but want to help the community you can leave a ball of yarn in the donation box that one of our lovely volunteers will make into something special on your behalf 💞

If you want to get involved and need a pattern please just drop me a message and I will send some over for you ☺️

We’ll be running this drive until the September so you’ve got plenty of time to get crafting!

This weeks topic of conversation has most definitely been all things texture 🧶 Slub, boucle, mohair or plush cotton can take so many vanilla makes and add a huge amount of interest ✨
