Meet the artists.
Tone Von Krogh
Tone’s ceramics draw inspiration from memories of snow-covered landscapes in Norway. When heavy snow covers trees, rocks, paths, and architecture, sharp edges become soft and everyday shapes may become unrecognisable. Tone brings the same feel to her work by softly distorting pieces made on the potters wheel and giving them bulges and indentations. The colour range reflects the many tones of snow, ice and winter skies.

**** EXHIBITION ****
I am pleased to be exhibiting my work with a new gallery, in Lancaster, for their new exhibition Raw.
Reconnecting with nature, the RAW exhibition is a reflection of our connection with the earth, with an element of new interpretations of traditional materials and techniques.
Organic repetition, natural materials & earthy tones flow through the collections of handcrafted work on show.
I am very happy to be part of this exhibition as my work is a reflection of the exhibition theme.
For any of my new instagram followers or non- followers here is a little about me and my jewellery. I am a contemporary jeweller specialising in silver and milk sea glass jewellery.
Each piece of milk sea glass has been tumbled and tossed by the sea for decades. I work with the organic shape of the glass to cut or shape and polish it before setting it into my jewellery.
The glass has had a previous life before it was abandoned to the sea. The pieces were made for household use, in every shape and size. Tossed into the sea as the end of day slump from the factories that produced it.
To see my jewellery along with my fellow exhibitors, the exhibition is held in the 1st floor gallery and runs until May 2023.
