While I’m very sad that summer has come to an end (I feel like it was just getting going!) I take some comfort in the fact that I get to start cracking out the cosy jumpers I’ve been collecting and storing up all year 😄🍁

I can’t wait to get into the studio to start photographing them properly so I can get them online for the launch of my ‘Sweater Weather’ collection on 20th September at 7pm 🍂 ⏰

After many years of following on Insta, I finally made it to for a visit and I wasn’t disappointed. Such a well curated collection of vintage, a real treasure trove 😍 I was also overjoyed to see that which I remember from my student days in Sheffield is still going in Broomhill! 🙌 And there were loads of other lovely charity shops too which I didn’t photograph. Definitely worth a visit to Broomhill for vintage/secondhand clothes and records if you’re in Sheffield!

Hello! 👋 I’m Lucy. I thought it was about time I do another intro post for recent followers.

Here are a few things about me:

🤓 I’m passionate about collecting unique, quality and colourful vintage clothing, which I’ve been doing for the best part of two decades now!

🌈 I am a pattern and colour lover (if you couldn’t tell!)

🥰 I’m a big fan of wearing what you love over fashion trends, and expressing yourself through what you wear.

🌼 I mainly collect pieces from the 1960s to 1980s, but recently I’ve found a bit of a nostalgia for the 1990s (my formative years!) I’m a big fan of old British highstreet brands like St Michael, C&A, Etam, BHS and more.

🎵 My musical tastes are about as vintage as my clothes.

😍 Often when I tell people I sell vintage the response I get is “oh I could never wear that” but vintage doesn’t have to be a costume or a whole ‘look’. Most trends now are based off previous eras so it’s easier to incorporate than a lot of people think.

👧 As the youngest of three kids I grew up wearing hand-me-downs, so I am no stranger to secondhand clothes.

👠 I am pretty short, but I gave up wearing heels about 10 years ago and can usually be found in trainers.

🏔️ When I am not in vintage clothes/working/on Instagram, you can usually find me out wandering in the countryside somewhere. I love exploring canals and hills.

Made by St Michael in the 1980s, this floaty rose print crop top and short set is perfect for summer holidays and festivals. It is made from viscose and linen, which makes it super soft and lightweight. The shorts have a drawstring and the top is very loose fitting. Best fit UK size 10 to 14.

Being optimistic I’m bringing along summery vibes (think holidays and festivals), but I’ve also got plenty of knitwear if it’s still a bit chilly!

A fun and colourful jumper by British brand Tulchan with a bright tulip pattern in primary colours on a white background.

It is knitted in a thick cotton so quite cosy but breathable, great for cooler spring weather. Some bobbling due to age, but otherwise in very good condition. The jumper is long so sits on or just past the hips.
