We are looking to recruit an experienced Class 1 tanker driver to transport a wide range of bulk powders, granular raw materials and minerals. This is a brilliant opportunity to work ongoing for a reputable and established company based in Sandbach.

It is essential that the required candidate has relevant experience and is able to work to a high standard with a professional manner.

For this position you will need to be available Monday to Friday with possible nights out.

A valid LGV1/Class 1 Licence
Digital Tachograph Card
Driver Qualification Card
No more than six penalty points for minor offences
Tanker Experience

Our new training vehicle and our new driver trainer are out working in this cold weather today ❄️❄️

Our customer based in Hanley is looking to recruit a temp to perm full-time Class 1 Driver for Tanker work. Tanker experience would be an advantage but is not necessary.

You will work day shifts with around 0500 starts, Monday to Friday with possibly 2 to 3 nights out per week. The occasional Saturday may be required.

No Bank Holiday or Sunday working is required.

All applicants must have:

A minimum of 6 months Class 1 continuous driving experience.
A good understanding of Working Time Directive and Driver Regulations.
Full UK Driving Licence with c+e entitlement
Digital Tachograph Card
Driver Qualification Card
No more than six penalty points for minor offences

Our customer in Hanley are looking to recruit a part-time Yard Person to work from 1400 to 1800, Monday to Friday. The finishing time may be later dependant on the volume of work each day.

Duties will include:

Opening curtains on trailers (which may be dirty due to the products carried)
Scanning Pallets and/or goods with a handheld scanner
General administration work
Any other duties which may be required to assist the transport office
Previous experience of working within a similar environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
