How does effective branding launch the success of your business?

Brand attractiveness manifests in a brand's ability to attract customers and in a customer's willingness to buy the product or service. This then directly correlates to the brand's success potential.

Effective branding communicates an essence of quality and will give your customers the perception that your product or service is better than that of the competition.

At Bramsea Media, we don't just create logos, we build the foundations of a successful business.

On May 10th, 1940, France surrendered to the N**i army, leaving Britain with 340,000 troops stranded on the shores of Dunkirk. Without these troops, Britain would be defenceless and it would have been impossible for Britain to endure.

On the same day, when Britain looked to be finished, Winston Churchill took the position of Prime Minister.
While the N**i Messerschmitt planes were caught up in a dogfight in the skies above Dunkirk, Britain attempted the impossible—to retrieve their soldiers using all manner of fishing boats, merchant marine boats, yachts, pleasure craft, and lifeboats, many manned by only UK citizens.

Thankfully, Britain prevailed.
Shortly afterward, Winston Churchill delivered one of his most famous and influential speeches,
“. . . we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.”

Luckily, this message of determination and defiance rang out loudly around the world and motivated support and defiance from other countries to join the fight.

Remember that, as Churchill said, “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference”.
No matter what problems you have and how it may seem overwhelming or pointless, "never surrender".

If you're going through hell, don't stop or dwell. Keep going. You will always come out the other side as a stronger person.

Creating a strong and compelling brand strategy can often be a long drawn out process, nevertheless, it remains one of the most important steps for any company, especially if you are a start-up. It will literally shape your customers opinion and drive your sales.

A brand strategy typically consists of creating your company identity. That will be your logotype, a variation of that logo for alternate uses, a corporate colour palette, typography and a business personality. It may also include illustrations, graphics, a pattern, stationary, packaging and way finding (signage).

Below we share a few quick tips on the process we use for our corporate branding process.

1/ Moodboarding: This is where it all begins. What companies do you admire? What corporate image do you plan on conveying? This is a series of inspirational targets that you would like to see incorporated into your company.

2/ The Colour Palette: Colour is an essential aspect of any logomark and company brand. Colour creates and forms the emotional link that your customers will have when they think of your brand. We use colour psychology to assist us in making sure that your clients form strong, positive opinions of your company.

3/ The logomark-logotype: This is perhaps the most important link that a customer has with your company. This logo, if done well, will convey a sense of personality, trustworthiness and professionalism. Done poorly and you could easily be sending the wrong message.

4/ Alongside logotype you will want to consider typeface. Points to consider are what the typography says about you as a company. For example: rounded fonts portray a sense of fun whereas serif fonts are more corporate and serious. Sans-serif fonts will convey ideas of modern and forward-thinking. Additionally, how will these typefaces be used? Will they be on your website, stationary, packaging or printed media?

5/ Before you go ahead and spend a fortune on your branding products, what will the finished article look like? Our designer's will help assist your company vision with a series of mock-up photographs providing you with reassurance. 19/01/2022
