Friday - The Sun ☀️ has been booked for POETS day.. so grab yourself a seat on the best people watching patio in Audley.

Friday - 3pm see the launch of our collaboration with Shumon’s.. see Shumon’s Kitchen at The Plough for menu, opening times and take away options. I’ll be there tonight and looking forward to the Rajwella Chicken 🥘

Saturday - we are off to the Wincle Brewery tour and a spot of lunch at the lovely Ship Inn Ship Inn, Wincle. So sorry if you missed out. Get your name down early for our next trip out

We are expecting to reopen for food from Friday 6th September. In collaboration with local a respected chef of XX Years, You’ll enjoy longer service hours and sample foods from a far. Trust me.. They are mouth watering. Keep your eyes peeled for the menu launch.

***Brewery Tour Alert***

Those fine folks at wincle brewery are fired up and ready to mingle with you on Saturday 7th September for an afternoon of liquid magic.

Following the brewery tour, we will head just down the road to the Ship Inn where we will finish off with a late lunch before heading back to the plough, with maybe 1 or 2 more cultural stops on the way back.

There will be a £5 deposit required please to secure a group booking at the ship.

Cost of Trip and Travel will depend on numbers but plan on £10.

Good Morning.. just a reminder why smoking controls are so important. Our Cheshire Cheese venue in Wheelock was moments away from significant fire damage caused by selfishly discarded cigarette end on Sunday evening.

***Important Smokers Announcement***

At 0230hrs this morning, a fire was discovered entering the downstairs ladies and gents toilets at The Cheshire Cheese. Smoke had also entered the cellar and upstairs living accommodation. Had this not been found and extinguished, it would have been moments away from significantly catching hold, endangering the premises and more importantly endangering the accommodation occupants. I cannot stress the potential consequences of a selfish and dangerous act of an individual or individuals.

Therefore with immediate effect there will be no smoking policy anywhere near the main building and patio area.

smoking and va**ng will be allowed in the beer garden and under the smoking shelter only!

The Managment and staff have been requested to strictly enforce this rule.
