**Celebrating international nurses week**

Today we have donated 150 oatcakes to front line staff at Royal Stoke hospital and A&E as part of the week long celebration for international nurses week. It runs from the 6th - 12th May which is the birth date of Florence nightingale.

The theme of nurses week 2021 is
“frontline warriors”
Nurses and other medical workers continue to work on the frontline of the pandemic, providing support to millions of patients.

RECIPE INSPO!

Here at the ‘Hole in the Wall’ we like to think outside of the box. Who says oatcakes have to be just for breakfast with sausage & bacon?!

Tonight our family have experimented a little with the new flavours & have a firm favourite by far . . .

The garlic oatcake with cheese, cooked red onion & cherry tomatoes fried in olive oil 🤤 a-maze-ing!

1.Chop a red onion & cherry tomatoes and toss into a frying pan with a generous glug of olive oil. Fry until softened.

2.Place your garlic oatcake under the grill with cheese on until nearly melted

3.Remove from the grill & pop a dollop of the onion & tomato mix on the top & pop back under the grill until cheese is completely melted

4. Remove from the grill, fold the oatcake over and enjoy!
