Final part of the project finished in Eccleshall - the front entrance. Another great selection of colours flowing through from the recently finished staircase, perfectly blending in with the subtle green tones from the stained glass and original flooring.

A very bold yet easy to balance pattern - and lovely to hang

Period property guest bedroom completed this week and it’s a great example of how a good selection of decorative papers can really compliment the shade of colour on the walls.

A small sneak peak into this weeks work on a stunning period property.

Using Benjamin Moore’s Scuff-X Satin on the woodwork to leave an extra smooth finish yet giving it enough durability to stand the test of time.

Quick colour change to this composite front door via brush & micro fibre roller - using Zinsser Allcoat Exterior Satin for a soft and subtle sheen.

Bare oak doors brought to life using Osmo door oil - adding durability and colour whilst allowing them to really ‘pop’.

Frames were completed in an oil-based high gloss brilliant white finish, allowing them to really contrast with the oak.

CEILING DAMAGE

Following a burst pipe leaving heavy damage to the plasterwork on this ceiling, an attempt at repair and redecoration was made by a previous decorator but ultimately left a finish that required more attention which included protruding plaster patches and inadequate treatment to the water stains. *See before photos*

- Complete sand over entire ceiling using a Dustless Sanding System

- Skim over protruding plaster patch repairs

- Water marks treated with shellac based stain block

- 2x final coats of Tikkurila Anti-Reflex 2

Baby Girl’s room completed! Before pictures included.

- Main walls finished in Johnstone’s Fresh Dough

- Panelling completed in a Johnstone’s Rose Heart Eggshell finish.

Entire process was done using a dustless sanding system to ensure a perfect mess-free finish.
