Hi everyone!
I thought I would share my favourite quote with you all.
βHappiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the lightβ
- there are always tough times that may lie ahead. Situations that may become overwhelming. This famous Harry Potter quote helps you to remember there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, aslong as you donβt give up on your happiness.
Any Harry Potter fans? Love to you allπ
You will never be a burden to those who truly love and care for you. The first step in beginning to start feeling better is to talk openly and honestly about your feelings and often even just speaking out to someone about your feelings/experiences can alleviate a lot of pressure and stress from your mind. Trust me, there are people willing to listen! People you may know, family or friends or even services such as the Samaritans, Mind, the Crisis team.
Keep strong, keep fighting, stay happy and look after yourselves and eachother!ππ
YOU are not alone & this is NOT the end of your story π
It's ok not to be ok, just don't give up! There are people out there that love and care for you, even if at times you may not feel they are there. Everyone experiences lows, unfortunately some worse than others, but there is always a light at the end of the tunnel and your sadness will never be forever. I can promise you that.
Stay happy, look after yourselves and your own happiness and check in on your friends & family!ππ
I don't know who needs to hear this right now but just know that THE WORLD IS A BETTER PLACE WITH YOU IN IT! You may not believe it at times and think at times that you have no one or that you're a burden but I promise you that this couldn't be further from the truth for the people that love and care about you most! I promise your loved ones would much prefer to put the effort in to get you to a better place than to lose you in this world.
If you are ever feeling low, especially to the point of having suicidal thoughts, please seek medical advice or at the very least talk to your family and if you feel that the medical advice isn't helping/working then please keep pushing and fighting for extra help until you feel like you are getting the right care.
Time is a healer. You won't be in that mind frame forever. Please talk to someone.ππ
- Losing someone close to me to su***de has always been my biggest fear and one of the main reasons why I wanted to create this page to help people just by letting people know that someone is here to listen. However, a week ago my uncle took his own life after a long battle with depression and alcohol, at the age of 38. I only wish I could've done more. I feel like you only find out how much someone is suffering after the worst should happen. This needs to be changed. So please, if you're feeling low then speak out or if you're worried about someone you know then tell somebody, work together to help or simply just ask them if they are OK.
Take care of each other! Stay happyππ
Hope is all we need!
Check in on your friends and loved ones, you never know who may be suffering in silence! And if you are suffering then please reach out to someone! You'll be surprised how much a listening ear can help!
Stay Happyππ

Couldn't have said it better myself! What an amazing community we live in, to know that there are people out there kind and selfless enough to create these inspirational messages in the hopes of helping another is absolutely spectacular!β€
I really hope this is the beginning of a chain reaction and that this may inspire others to, at the very least, be considerate and mindful of those around, family and strangers alike.
You are never alone! Message our group for a friendly chat! STAY HAPPYππ
It's OK not to be OK! JUST DON'T SUFFER IN SILENCE!ππ
Hi guys,
Recently we recieved a message from a lovely lady who has shared with us her blog that she has created surrounding suicidality, including thoughts around su***de and physical su***de attempts.
Within her blog, Laura outlines the stigma around su***de as well as the struggles she has faced over the years with mental health and the coping mechanisms she has found useful in living with suicidal thoughts and mental health. She also offers a chance to reach out to her in order to share your story and connect with someone who is also facing similar struggles.
To access the blog, follow the link below or type Laura Adderley Blog in your search engine, ie google:

I encourage anyone who is struggling to take a look at this blog and I urge anyone who is struggling with suicidal thoughts to reach out to someone, anyone! You will be surprised at how much having that initial conversation can help and who is willing to listen if you need it!
Please don't suffer in silence, reach out to family, friends, a trusted health professional or even just message our page for a chat, because you are NOT ALONE! YOU ARE LOVED! YOUR LIFE MATTERS! Stay strong and stay happy!ππ
Home | Laura Adderley I've been on a journey for mental health my whole life. I've gotten knocked down and then back up. I've done the work. I have good days and bad. The journey continues - thanks for coming along with me!
You will be surprised who's willing to listen if you just give them a chance. You are never aloneππ
Mental health can effect anyone. Remember to check in your friends and family and to always show you appreciate them! You never truly know how a person is feeling.
Equally, if you're feeling a little low and insignificant, just remember, you have an impact on someone's life somewhere, you matter, you will he ok and you will overcome the bad times! Keep fighting and always reach out if you're struggling.
Message our page for a friendly chat or to unload. No one is ever alone!ππ
Sometimes we get so consumed in our everyday lives that we forget to show our appreciation to those around us and it's not that we're not grateful, but it is easy to take for granted the people we have without noticing. If you have someone special in your life, who you feel has had an impact on you, no matter how big or small, remind them. A little can go a long way.
Stay happy and speak out if you need help! You never have to suffer alone and in silence.
Message our page for advice, support or just a friendly chat!
IT IS OK NOT TO BE OK!
It's ok to talk, it's ok to cry. No matter what your gender or age! Life can be so rough, no matter what your circumstances, everyone experiences their own personal problems which consumes their thoughts and fills them with feelings of anxiety and deep sadness. Sometimes such feelings can become so overbearing and powerful that su***de becomes an option to a person and is sometimes seen as the only option. But if you ever feel this way then you must stop, take some deep breaths and remember that your circumstances now and the way you're feeling is only temporary and will not last forever! When I say temporary, I'm not saying that these will just go away over night and will disappear with a pill but what I am saying is that it is a process and that you can fight against this and fight for your life because your pain matters and your life matters and with the right support and guidance around you, you can learn to overcome anything! You just need to keep fighting and give yourself the chance at a future that you never thought was possible for you.
If you are feeling like suicidal or depressed then reach out!! Whether that's today, tomorrow or the next, tell somebody, anybody!! ASK FOR HELP! Ask anybody, family, friends, doctor, your local su***de prevention hotline or message our page for friendly support or a friendly chat just to off load. Stay happyππ
This post is so powerful and true! You never truly know the impact that you have on somebody else's life, whether that be positive or negative.
So just remember, your life matters and the little things you may not notice may have big impacts on other peoples life/happiness.
Be kind, stay happy, remember to check on your loved ones and live your best life! You only have 1!
Message this page if you need any help or advice or even just a friendly chat! We are here for anyone who needs us!ππ
Hi Guys,
As lockdown hopefully begins to ease and life returns back to some normality, remember to stay patient and to be kind to everyone around you, remember that you're parents have tried hard to provide for the things you have and only want the best for you, remember that your kids are finding it hard and tiresome to be back into a routine and dealing with school, remember that your friends may be busy sometimes but they are still there, remember that the people who serve you in any type of job have feelings too are just there to provide a service. It is easy to allow our frustrations to get the best of us sometimes and to project these onto other people. Whenever you're feeling frustrated for whatever reason, before you react try to see things from a different perspective and remember the people around you and their feelings because you never know what a person is truly going through.
If you're feeling down and upset, remember you are never alone. Reach out to someone and talk. Or if you notice someone around you becoming depressed and withdrawn then reach out! You never know if you could be saving a life.
This page is here for anyone who needs friendly support whether that be advice or just a private and friendly conversation with someone with no social ties to you and promises to be compassionate and helpful and anyway we can be. Stay strong and stay happy!ππ
