Here at The DP Group we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team.

The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, maintaining office efficiency, and providing support to the staff.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Perform day to day accounts duties such as statement runs, bank reconciliation with Xero, preparation of payroll and purchasing.

- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and ordering supplies as needed

- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents

- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

- Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies

- Assist with data entry tasks and maintain accurate records

- Provide support to other departments as needed

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant / Manager or in a similar administrative role

- Proficient in using Sage One, Xero, One Drive, Excel and other relevant software applications

- Strong clerical and organizational skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills

Working Hours Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
