The Happy Donkey Company

Today my boys went to their new home where they will live with 2 other donkeys, sheep and a alpaca with a pony, pigs and goats in a neighbouring field, they have settled in very well and will be loved by a very lovely lady, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the lovely people we have met along the way, our donkeys have touched the lives of so many people young and also the old and I'm sure they will continue this in their new home ❤

It is with a very heavy heart that we have decided to close the business and rehome our donkeys, this has been a very hard decision and our boys wellbeing is absolutely paramount and any future home will have to be 5 * for these special boys who have gave us so much love throughout the time we have had them and really do deserve the best, I will be in contact in due course to those that have events booked with us throughout the year.

Our Hospice
Every year, Dougie Mac provides all hospice services free of charge to adults, young adults and children living with a life-limiting illnesses in Stoke-on-Trent, North Staffordshire and the surrounding villages; also offering supportive care for their families and carers.

Following the amalgamation in March 2021 of children’s hospice The Donna Louise Trust into Dougie Mac, our care now takes place across two sites in Blurton and Trentham as well as out in the local community.

Our dedicated staff and volunteers are central to the care we provide and all we do. We strive to go that extra mile to provide a warm, friendly and peaceful environment both at the hospice or in a family’s home.
